Once employees are vested in the pension ... they never leave ... so you get stagnant people who have been here for decades thinking they are all that because they haven’t worked anywhere else running the show and managing others. Who ever wrote this is a genius!!! Ass kissing & brown nosing will get you everywhere at Abbvie. I worked at Abbott (PPD) and Abbvie for 30+ years and just had to accept it as the way of life. If you can get past it, and make a good living, you'll survive and retire happy.

As one grows older you’re considered less competitive for jobs by biased and ignorant managers. Since we have mortgages, kids in college we tend to be stable and not flighty short attention span entitled snowflakes.
