My experience in watching lab related firms fail is when the reagent firms cut you off, put you on extreme COD, etc it is a major indicator of the beginning of the end. Even a totally inept or totally greedy management understands that you have to keep the basic supply lines open to do the work..along with paychecks (you hope), the last items left unpaid.

Without the stat lab they are crazy if they think we can give doctors the same turn around times. Our logistics department is a joke, they are always late and miss stats as it is.
