Busted. I am a hypocrite that made far more than you intimated. So, guilty. Retired...well before the layoffs, children. My thoughts and prayers go out to all affected. And now, trying to repent. Please allow me too do so. I am giving back every day working with people with barriers or disabilities in the health care system. So hate me for a common past, but not today.
With that said, our corporate executives are hypocrites of the ultimate higher order. Their behavior is diametrically opposed to consistent, moral and ethical behavior as seen in how they control power to pay themselves excessively by any standards and comparisons around the world. Hundreds and hundreds of multiples removed from what reps and managers make in even, cash rich pharma.
What they pay "themselves" in corporate condoned, collusion under the guise of staying competitive or claiming exceptionally rare skill sets is reprehensible. They, our corporate elitists, are changing the very moral fabric of our country in bad, cheating is ok culture, type ways. I've researched this topic exhaustingly. And I land on this conclusion based on thorough study as to where we were in the 1960s to where we are today, 2020. It has nothing to do with Bernie Sanders, screaming, rightly in my opinion about this issue. I came by this truth by learning what things can truly tear a culture, a society apart. I'm a fiscal conservative. I'm far removed from a socialistic philosophy but this is massive hypocrisy.
But your welcome to disagree, lad.
