It just boggles my mind that so many people complain about layoffs, no promotion/raises, the company going down the shitter, stagnant company culture, micro-managing bosses, and then turn around and brag about how they only work 6 hours a week and make bank by pretty much being nothing short of a dishonest thief.

Yep, you are completely right, but who gives a rat's ass. A thief? No more so than that sorry ass Pascal!!! He doesn't deserve a single penny raise, the idiot! This is called payback!
 






The more I do this job the more I hate it! The only good thing about it is the all day lie! The all day lie rules!!!! If it wasnt for faking calls 90+% of the time I would probably kill myself or be in a mental facility!

Nobody could endure the humiliation and resentful treatment of office staff and physicians for a full 40 hr. work week. This job has become a total fraud. The only jobs more worthless than ours is the DM's. What a joke coaching us on the same routine milk run calls, an extended business lunch to discuss strategy on offices where nobody has seen a physician for a full sales presentation in 10 years, and then a quick exit for a non existent conference call.

As well as the DSM's who always have a morning thing going on so they meet us around noon in time for lunch, a couple of calls and then leave because they need to get their kids off the bus. They lie, we lie. No biggie.
And people wonder why Bevespi is sucking wind.

That is not true. I see all of my physicians as many times as I am told. They just won't see me when my manager is with me. It must be her because it can't be me. They all love and respect me for the great value and knowledge I bring to their office.

They work with pharmacies, nursing staff, have programs and network very hard for attendance and are able to converse with aptitude on discussions with physicians about diehard states and treatment algorithms and recommendations. But even still I imagine the ROI is not where they want it to be for the expense of the sales people. Combine the sales forces and put multiple products in the bag for god sake will you?

They will. Just led by pigheaded leadership that still believes in a SoV paradigm in an environment where that ancient model doesn't work.

As I see it, we have zero worries about layoffs at AZ for the time being. Frenchie the Fool is still delusional about $45 billion in sales by 2023, so he will need to add MORE reps in the future, if you can believe that! I have perfected my day to a level that even I didn't think was possible, in terms of lying and deceiving. My sales are reasonably good too!

Today, will be a first for me. I call it the All Day Lie! No sampling all day, with 100% fake calls. I will only do it every now and then to not raise suspicion. Join me my friends and make this a tradition across all of AZ!!!! Relax and enjoy the All Day Lie!!

The all day lie has been wonderful addition to our work-life balance! I had around 5 legitimate calls last week. I will admit, I did push the envelope a little too much, but the weather was great, so i hated not to take advantage of it! Quit complaining people, and get onboard!

Lurker here, checking in on my old company. Good to see this thread is still alive. It proves that at least a few of my former counterparts have a shred of honesty.

I am now with another "top 5" company, and trust me when I tell you that in my experience in 4 different territories, everyone's call average and interactions with the managers is just as you describe. That being said, it astounds me that people actually complain about this! For the amount of money that we make, hardly seeing any customers and putting up with an overbearing boss who always cuts out early is a dream come true!! Im sure Quintiles, PDI, and Inventiv reps would change places with us in a heartbeat.
 












Guys, I am telling you toque complaining about everything at AZ! It puts us on the radar even more! Just accept things as they are and ENJOY THE ALL DAY LIE! We really have it made when you think about! Nobody here even begins to work close to aa 40 hour week, and we all know it! Enjoy the PAID FREEDOM we have here, and hope you will survive the next layoff, if there is another layoff!
 






Oh there will be another layoff. But first they will weed out the very low performers. If are nationally ranked at or near the bottom, be ready for a mutual consent opportunity. If you choose to go on an action plan and things don't improve quickly, a PIP is in your future. They may offer the mutual consent again. TAKE IT! If you choose to try and make it through a PIP (very low % of that happening), you are only saving the company $ by firing you outright.
 






Holy Smokes,, how many layoffs do you have to witness to realize "low performer" "top performer" "trip winner" "President's Club" "Contest Winner" means ZERO to companies when it comes to laying people off?! We are just some territory number on a spreadsheet that's all... I could build a whole district of laid off reps who've were "top performers"
