Tenured reps

Zoll produces cream of the crop reps that are in demand in all fields of cardiology and EP sales.

Is that why the leave? So you consider yourself a training company that develops reps who go on to better opportunities? Is that your message? So your looking for entry level or light medical candidates to fill positions? Who's developing the reps? Not Zolls 4 day draining program. Laughable! Managers don't have cardiac experience so they are out. Most have never sold the product and are clueless. So how do the entry level DME reps who don't know what a Hospital looks like become so valuable??

What a joke.zoll produces Cream of the crop? What crack are you smoking ? Obviously one that's making you hallucinate. You have nothing to do with cases, have no involvement with the doctors at a true clinical level, exactly what skills is it that you are learning and can bring to the table to another company that makes a Zoll TM so desirable?

Zoll forces you to learn serious sales skills on the fly. In most Doctors opinions, these are the best trained and most knowledgeable reps calling on them. CRM and stent companies fight over hiring these cardiac warriors because they know Zoll reps can "bring the business".

Yeah sure, than Zoll PIPs and fires them..

I'm not sure what you're smoking' or what reality you're living in, but this is not in anyway accurate. nobody wants to hire Zoll reps because they have damaged their reputations by working for Zoll. the respect that your cardiologists had for you goes down every day you work for Zoll.

Zoll is absolutely the worst company to work for in terms of reputation, training, loyalty or customer perception. I only write this because I don't want management's lies to influence people for whom this site might actually influence their decision to join. Do your homework, ask a cardiologist or former employee. Walking into this with full knowledge and not being fooled by the repeated lies they tell (and you will too if you join) is a different matter.

You mean Zoll lost all their good reps years ago by implementing the stupidest quota system in the industry. If your looking to take a job with Zoll, ask the hiring manager what the quota is currently. Then ask him to calculate the quota 2, 3 and for shockers even 5 years down the road. After you stop laughing ask the manager how many reps leave after one year. And by the way stents and pacers are contract products. Managers at Zoll don't even know the best jobs in the market. Lol. That's because they are clueless about cardiology.

At Zoll, you can expect to be tested and pushed to the limit! All good jobs will do this to you. I have seen CRM reps flip companies and business overnight, is it really a contract job? Zoll trains you to think, breathe and shit success. God bless Zoll

You can expect to be pushed by a dingbat entry level pharma entry level manager who wouldn't know a can from a bedpan. Let them believe their own illusions they have nothing to back it.

COMPLETE LIES! You're right in the fact that all good jobs push people out of their comfort zones. I have been extremely successful in every job that I have ever had. However, what goes on here is NOT pushing me out of my comfort zone, it's more like unrealistic goals that have spun out of control. I came here wanting to make a differencing knowing that I could do better than the person before me. What I didn't realize as that the game is rigged and that everything that was posted on this site and I ignored was 100% true and accurate. I was lied to and I left a decent job to come here. I'm so disappointed that I didn't listen to the people that I talked to and told me to stay away. Please learn from my poop judgement and do not come here. I'm currently looking for my exit.

Poop people make poop judgements.

I agree with some of the above
When I interviewed to get out of Zoll I brought my demo vest and wore it
The hiring manager asked what it was
I closed the deal by saying: if I can sell this thing I can definitely sell anything you guys make

That is an incredible interview strategy. You are a genius.

Act like a man or get a smack you wench. Be thankful for the training you received at Zoll, move on and we don't have to talk about what a failure you are. Zoll trolls run the med device industry!

Ok so the statement was explain the quota system in a territory currently. Then calculate my 3 and 5 year quota and ask me why I should waste my time taking a position with such a ridiculous system. I didn't hear your response? Please explain? Don't side step or redirect. Save the rhetoric for your children. Be direct and concise with your answer. And thank you for making my point about Pacers and stents. Not much difference from product to product. Products are sold via contract or flipped as you put it, by an EXPERIENCED cardiac rep who has been in the territory for YEARS. Non of which Zoll can offer.

Stop lying! typically any rep that has lasted more than 2 years has done this because the quota when they started in their territory was at $0, or very near zero. So as quota climbed it was attainable. If your quota when you started is between $0-10K those are the reps that are here a bit over 2 years. Once they go over year 3 they will leave ike very one else.

That is exactly right. When I started my quota was under 10,000. At 2 1/2 years, I was at plan. As I'm approaching my third year it is tough, my quota is almost at 100,000 per month. I've done an incredible job, but you can only run a racehorse so hard. Time to move on and get paid properly for the value I bring and stop running after a finish line that constantly moving 10 steps ahead of me.
