Tebow

Anyone that Tebows Pittspuke out of the playoffs is a HairyFiddler hero. Tebow threw some incredible bombs to tightly covered receivers.....as well throw as anything Brees, Peyton, or Rogers could throw.

Sure his percentages suck, So what? A 50 yard pass play is just as good or netter than the 7 pass dump offs that move the chains. Also...When Denver is inside the 10, good luck holding them to 3 points. Tebow is one helluva a fullback.

Tebow is 6'2, 236 lbs and runs a 4.71 second 40.

I wouldn't want to get in front of him inside the red zone when he's sprinting towards the end zone.

I think he's going to be a superstar in the NE game.

I read in the news today that Tebow is rated the most popular athlete in the USA.

Actually he's probably the most loved and most hated QB in pro football.

His haters prefer QB's like Michael Vick - dog killers.

I don't think his "haters" prefer QB's like Mike Vick in fact Mike Vick is like Tebow poor passer great runner. I think people who just don't understand how a guy with less than a 50% completion rate on few attempts for fewer yards who won 8 games and looked bad most of the time save for a single pass has garnered so much hype.
 






The Anti-Tebow person here keeps reminding us that Denver's defense took them this far. It was indeed a team effort. No one here will tell you that Tebow did this alone.

My point was that an NFL team cannot go to the playoffs with a shitty QB. A shitty QB will ruin any chance of getting a playoff bid. Does it take a good defense too? Sure it does. But few would argue that the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT POSITION on a football team is the QB.

The anti-Tebow guy said that OAKLAND was the reason Denver went to the playoffs. What a lame-ass argument if I've ever heard one.

I think he holds a personal grudge against Tebow for some reason.

Bullcrap. The QB runs the offense. If the offense fails to score you lose. It's that simple.

People who know football understand the QB is critical to the success of any football team.

To say otherwise is absurd.
 






Why is someone stating that the statistics match what they witness on the field and they do not believe that Tebow is that good makes one a “hater”? That is ridiculous! Great if you like the guy and you think he is great, but far more 2nd year QB’s have had better seasons than Tebow with a lot less hype. Tebow is the most talked about sports figure right now and not because of his skill or lack thereof of his QB performance. Just because some people are not drinking the Tebow Kool-Aid doesn’t make them haters, or anti-Christian it just means it is going to take more than a few good plays here and there to anoint him as great. I mean come on his passer rating, total yards, attempts, TD’s, and completion percentage are not “great” they’re not even “good”.

9 for 26 for 136 against the second worst defense in te NFL!!!! Nuff Said! Post after you intern under Mel Kiper for a year or two.
 






Tebow didn't lose the game. The God awful Denver defense lost the game. The Denver offensive line that failed to protect Tebow lost the game. The Denver wide receivers who couldn't hang onto the fricken ball to save their lives lost the game. I saw at least 5 passes dropped. Even the greatest QB in the world would lose games with that kind of support. All factors considered, Tebow played a darned good game. If I were him I would ask for a free agent trade to another NFL team so I could show my potential. Tebow had one hell of a season with what he had to work with, especially for a 2nd year QB. He'll be one of the great ones for sure.

With the right team Tebow has the talent to be a all-time top 10 NFL QB. If I were him I would have a heart to heart with the owner and ask for a trade. No QB is good with a shitty offensive line that can't pass block and recievers who can't catch. Tebow would be worth every dime of a $50M contract with the right team.

He can't read coverage or throw...keep dreaming. He wont start next year. He's done.

What team would take him. That O line was the best run blocking line in the NFL and since Tebow can't throw the ball and he got down big early the D pinned their ears back and came at him. The Pats knew Tebow wasn't going to beat them with his arm so they stacked the box. Unless Tebow can become a passing threat his NFL QB days wi be short. Great kid love what he does off the field but he is a long ways away from being an a passing threat.
 






He shines when the rest of his team shines. At this point, he is inconsistent. That can be fixed and he has the work ethic and drive to do it.
