Hiring of friends has started on this team. Newly hired Medical in PPK, Giralda and Boudry are welcoming their friends from other companies who were laid off instead of keeping people who were working like crazy. Laid all of them off and new laid off friends are coming to steal the remnants. Other than one decent team, the rest are playing games. Pushing the laid off BMS to work like crazy until they hire their friends. Most brutal have been hired in the last 1-2 years in medical who have conspired to having their way.
Is TS still bringing her friends over to BMS? Is it even ethical to push our people out and hire outsiders when so many of internal employees are losing their jobs? There should be a pause on external hires unless they are true talents to try and preserve those loyal to BMS. It makes me sick to think what is happening to Medical. I hope these people don’t sleep well at night.

If Tania can bring Field Medical back from the failed McKinsey experiment reporting Sales or whatever euphemism they want to call it, she earns respect. I hope other companies learn from this and not follow the recommendations of McKinsey.

Adam L moved her around demoted her to report to Tania Small who he hired to layoff everyone. Yes, there was some weird movement about 6 years back to move medical under newly created Commercialization which in itself was a whacky move. There was no CMO. Recently, they made the clinical development guy the CMO and none of medical was reporting into the CMO. Estelle was reporting to the CEO. Both Estelle and Tania had the same SVP title. From the minute Tania was hired, she was mouthing the words of Adam L. Non medical sales catch phrases. What did Tania do? She laid off capable people, destroyed their lives to replace them with barely average laid off employees. How is this change? She has no ideas, nothing out of this world and no medical foresight but her actions created earthquakes.

McKinsey is the downfall of BMS and we pay them billions to do it. Most companies won't use them anymore, outdated concept

Correct! She didn't directly report to Giovanni but had a seat at the ELT table (essentially dotted line). Therefore this poster (anonymous Feb 08, 2025 at 03:29: AM) is incorrect.

I think Giovanni respected and valued Medical at the table, but recognized it's need to be in commercialization.

CB and AL just see the medical function as a dumpster to layoff more folks there versus commercial so save their friends jobs.

H’bad, disgusting place with thousands going into IT via huge paid programs. Bangalore, Pune or Mumbai are much better.
 


















Let's just remind everyone of the tone deaf Florida meeting a couple of weeks ago, knowing there are monster changes impending broadly. Disingenuous answers during town halls/Q&A including "there are no changes in medical as of now" is not fooling us.
The off-site was a total waste of people's time...

That is just the total fault of the MLT (led by our dear TS) in a true example of gross negligence with misdirecting how the Org spends it's time and resources...
