SUBOXONE--Reckitt Benckiser

The motivation behind everything they do is to sell the company. This is why they don't care how they treat people, give no stock, etc. CH, the big sleezeball pulling the strings, still has an Austin area cell phone after living in Richmond for several years and is actively looking for other employment. As his reputation is shot after this, he is apparently having some trouble.
Just accept this and either hang on for the ride or move on.

Just out of curiosity, is CH having problems with the higher management? I would love to know, because he is a sleezeball and I hope he gets treated the same ways he has treated everyone else!! I am sure eventually he will get his. What goes around, comes around.

[/ QUOTE ]

CH is having problems covering his tracks, but upper management is just as bad as he is. Regardless, he will get his someday soon.

[/ QUOTE ]

What has he done that he has to cover his ass oops I mean tracks. The way they are hiring all these reps who really havent got a clue will be bad for suboxone. I am curious as to when the FDA will get wind of this and take the ability of physicians to perscribe and giving it to the meth clinics.

Six months ago PSS did a major hire for this contract - how are you guys doing, is this opportunity what you expected? Why is RB doing all this hiring now - is it expansion or vacated territories? Also, what happened to the ReckittBenckiser thread that used to be here - it's gone completely!

RB management monitors the boards, if they dont like what they see they pull the thread. As far as I see it the hiring is an expansion and some filling of vacated positions. They have way too many reps in the field and the way they work out the bonus tends to stretch the ethical standards that have been put in place by the FDA to the limit. Pretty soon FDA will be breathing down their throats because this drug will start to be used inappropriately due to lack of knowledge and well then eveything goes down hill from there.

Got an offer....66K.........still on the fence considering everything I have heard thus far. Are there any RB folks out there that can honestly say if this is a good gig (if you have a good DM)....are bonuses good or no? Someone mentioned micromanagement. How is that possible considering the logistics and how this drug is promoted?

It's really going to depend on where you will be promoting it

Hey I have that number anyone want it. You can all wish him luck in his future endeavors. Maybe he has something on the side in Austin, that's why he keeps it!

Am interviewing currently but what looked like a great position now has me concerned after reading these posts; can someone explain what the bonus issue is about and why the fda would get involved? My understanding is that I would be calling on docs in private/group practices who are already enrolled in the program?

I was also passed on for this position. I am also grateful that I did not walk int this tragidy. This company has great potential for making a difference in the ill-fated substance abuse community. On the other hand I was equally unfortunate to be launched int the NITROMED CONSPIRICY of Gross neglegence and incompetence. THREE STRILES AND YOU'RE O U T! BAATTERRRR-UUP!

I've been in the industry for over 10 years with four different companies. RB is by far the best company I've ever worked for. The salary and bonus plan is exceptional and the company really works hard to retain its employees. I have been to initial product training more times than I've wanted to, and have had a roommate with every company! People who go on these boards are way too negative. It would be a lot better to see a more balanced view of the companies represented. I'd hate to see someone pass on a job selling Suboxon because of this message board. This product saves lives!

This person is out of their mind. They do not take care of theri employees. There are many that have lawsuits against RB. Think twice about the company. Yes the drug is great but the company is not doing the addiction community any favors but trying to sell it every tom dick and harry who wants to make a buck! Thats how it will end up in the hands of people who dont need. I said it before and I'll say it again. The company or management including Chris is out make a buck and get out. They dont care about the lives, the doctors or anything else. Many docs are not even getting paid their honorariam for months. Believe me THEY DONT CARE!!!

Run for your life. Word on the street is.. a good number of t management at all levels here is allegedly corrupt and despicable. Apparently, if you are happy in the company of managers that are unscrupulous enough to lie, cheat, manipulate reps with untrue stories about other reps they are intimidated by, selectively buying them personal gifts and offering promotions to those reps that will cover their sorry assess.. then by all means.. sign up. Apparently, if you have no sales experience or are a counselor of any sort with a mail order certificate, you can get a job here and join in on the fun. If you are carrying a grudge against professional sales people, with real credentials and experience, here is your chance to give it to them. You'll be given the best treatment, allowed to pick where you want to live-choose your territory, while existing reps who have been loyaling waiting their turn, fall off like dead leaves. Your manager will love you. Who knows maybe you can be a manager just like him in just months. Turnover is great for new people, isn't it?

Riki Tiki Tavi. Whos that tattling? Smell like what it is. Stinky reckitt rot. Them that stays becomes same way. Thems that go, do know, it stay that way and they better off.

To the poor sucker who, after reading all this, actually has to still ask if this is a place to be. READ BETWEEN THE LINES THEN. NO, its not a good place to be. Its a nightmare. You will work your ass off, deal with a company that is a start up with no sales support, customer service that is useless and management-well, read the above. Unless you are unscrupulous, a brown nosing, money hungry, souless animal, you need to keep moving. Got it? Would you sell your soul to the devil, back stab a team mate, just to move ahead or get noticed. Thats what is require here, o.k. Sorry, its the bloody reality. There were 25 reps on their original sales team and of the new hires, most have left, gotten fired or probably have committed suicide. There are all of 5 of original hires left. Check out their pulses. Ask to speak to one of them. This is not good. I repeat, get a clue, this is not good. How many good reports do you see here?

Pee you wee. Is it really this bad here? Then, how come they keep hiring if they are so bad? How can they keep going? I seriously have second thoughts now. Any RMs, any body care to respond?

They keep hiring because they want to show the people they are selling it too that they have a real sales force.

Please define "5 of the original hires"; I interviewed last dec when they were doing nationwide hiring and didn't get the offer; after reading these posts, I'm sure it's since I made a big deal about leaving my last pharma company because I refused to engage in dishonest, unethical behavior like paying off my docs and reiterating my respect for pharma guidelines; is this the sales force you are referring to or the hiring before that one a year ago?

There were 25 original reps nationwide that were hired in 2003. They are the ones that got suboxone off the ground and then got screwed!

Look, either you have been lied to big time or are just really a jerk. What have you been smokin? With regards to "works hard to retain its employees?" Paying people more money to put up with illegal, unethical behaviour is not a big carrott to most intelligent, decent human beings. Its called a pay off. Somebody must have slipped you 16 mgs., dude or a big fat promo. Seriously, you have either chosen to ignore the turn over-rate of the century or are soaking in denial (no, it still isn't just a river in Egypt). Pull you big fat stupid head out. Please, do stay with this company, we don't want you infecting any other industries. Get your values from Howard Stern did you? Good news is, with this type of denial or just outright stupidity, your share o de shit is on its way to you even faster. Just hang on and keep your waders handy. Be sure to smile and keep that denial going. At least you can look real pretty for the camera and your next pay off. There is no question that you are one of the weasels that got yourself a promo at the expense of someone way more deserving than you. No, contrary to what you may believe, your ass kiss ways will catch up with you. Lying about your accomplishments, putting down other people in whatever not- so-subtle form got you were you are. Turning red yet, asshole?
