SkinMedica/Skinceuticals

The company caters to professionals and representatives of companies should be professional. If not, any scumbag could do your job. There are many little 20 year old blondes that do not have degrees that could do your job, but a degree sets them apart as well as acting the part as a professional.
You are not chimps or chumps! Now that is why! Behave like a professional even when no one else is watching, in other words, be a decent human being.
Healthcare professional.

thank you - I couldn't agree more. At times I think to myself....this is my job??!!! I strive to be professional but when reps seem to get great joy out of managers that are far from professional it's hard to take this profession seriously. Yes, most people could do our jobs and be a rep, without any problem. The job is easy - too easy. That's why I agree so much with this post - Let's be as professional as possible.

Desonate Gel Approved

How will this new porduct effect sales? Who will call on Peds? Much better than the recently approved Connetics Verdeso (burns, stings, causes skin atrophy). They even got the Deso prefix for the name "Desonate" and Connetics couldn't; ended up with Verdeso instead of Desilux. What a bunch of lucky losers at Connetics (bought out by Stefiel).

CARLSBAD, Calif., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- SkinMedica, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing, acquiring and commercializing products that treat dermatologic conditions and diseases and improve the appearance of skin, announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the company's New Drug Application (NDA) for Desonate (desonide gel) 0.05% for treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis. Desonate is a low potency topical steroid formulated in a proprietary water- based Hydrogel vehicle developed and patented by Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, Inc. The patented formula is free from alcohol, fragrance or surfactants which can be irritating or drying to the skin of atopic dermatitis patients. Desonate was developed in a collaborative effort between SkinMedica and Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, Inc. and will be available to physicians in first quarter of 2007.

"The relationship with Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences enables us to expand our pipeline of dermatology products and build a robust franchise in the $1 billion topical steroid market," said Rex Bright, President and CEO of SkinMedica. "The launch of Desonate represents a significant addition to our portfolio of prescription and cosmeceutical dermatology products." "We are pleased to have partnered with SkinMedica in the development and approval of this important product utilizing our patented Hydrogel technology," said Bhaskar Chaudhuri, President and CEO of Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Just so you wont sound any more stupid in the future since you are so in love with your product and you are making the clinical comparisons. It got the prefix VER- because it is in a versafoam and it is alcohol free so it will not burn and it is a low potency so you could sleep with it and not get atrophy. What a blundering idiot you are to make those statement on a computer. Keep those statements up and you be in prez counc, sounds rather intelligent coming from a SM employee, then again, just read your board and it basically sounds like a collective effort.

Foam on the brain

Keep sniffing that paint; nice rationale about the Versa prefix (you got out foxed admit it). Then why is the burning/stinging 3 times higher than Desonate gel? You are getting your butts kicked at every turn. What's next? Hold on, you'll see.

I guess a micro wash will be next, right? That will be an easy gimmic.

Music to your ears..robust 1 billion steroid market..that means you will capture super highs to lows..branded to generic..derm to family practice...sounds good because allllllll of that is included in 1 billion annual sales....sip and drink because you can get it all. wow..what, the company did 12 million last year and enter with a low potency...look at your mgmnt and reps..no accountability. looks like rb model from his days at allergan...word up-look for layoffs when numbers dont hit.

If anyone is interested in how to work only 2-3 days a week and log in calls as if you worked a full 5 days a week, let me know. I know how the newest expert worked the system. It is just a matter of logging every two weeks as well as using the SDF to your advantage. I can show you exactly how. Not only show you, but prove to you. The best thing about it is there will be no repurcussions because HR HAS to be aware of the system and SM would be in for a large law suit if it were ever held against you.
Just let me know.

Cannot be done unless you are an unethical person that has no conscience. Why would you even work, just suck off the govt. I guess that is better because it doesnt come out of everyones pocket. Only scum does that kind of stuff. Now Im not saying I have not taken an afternoon off for a dental appt., but to not work all the time, you have to have a disease. Why would you let the cat out of the bag-must be an ex-employee.
