The person/people who changed the holiday schedule, meeting hiatus and organized community partnership day should be promoted.

Unbossed is a great initiative. But, the implementation is tough. If middle management really believed in it (VP-ABL), sales would have more autonomy.

We need to be able to take an office day.

We could also use a bigger operations team. Artificial intelligence is only as good as the data that goes in.

All of that said, some huge strides were made with the announcements this week and community partnership day. I have a feeling these changes will lead to increased retention and increased sales. Being stretched too thin, chasing call averages, balancing meetings, the hours of admin made us burned out and distracted. A happy salesperson is more effective.

Too bad home office is not unbossed

And then we cram people into the open concept design where we get to stare at each other all day even though we’re would be more productive with traditional office design (and there is the space available)
 




Top down, micro, fear based, management. Nothing is changing. These fear monger managers are using the holiday schedule to say look how good we are to you, then whack you in the head over call averages or some other activity based metric. Most in low level management do not have proper temperament for unboss leadership, in fact, they were chosen because of their inability to reason and only crack whip over metrics (it’s all they know). Zebra doesn’t loose its stripes just because you say it’s a horse now. Love the unboss theory though.

So well put. Now, if we cut back on the amount of town halls and telecons, we will be even better.

Ha! The Zebra is delusional and believes he is a horse and wants all zebras to be horses. Middle management should be removed for ever. These are opportunistic zealots, control freaks and bullies.

These initiatives have all been done in the past. They never last longer than three years.
