Should we start getting worried?

We should be getting some kind of update this week

The expansion and launch will happen but it is anyone's guess as to when it happens. No one will know until the FDA rules. There are plans in place to roll as soon as the word is given. Could be coming at anytime or later in the year. NO ONE KNOWS. This is a hurry up and wait situation. If you want to know if it is ever happening, YES IT IS. If you want to know when, NO ONE CAN TELL YOU. Make your career decisions according to your situation.

Basically heard this same thing from hiring manager at the end of last week.

I walked away. You should too. The likelihood of approval at this point is nil. Even if it gets approved, it will be a tough sell. Plus you will have spastic managers who have been itching for their promotions breathing down your neck. Benefit doesn't outweigh the ass pain.

chances of approval are NOT nill. It will happen. It will be a tough sell but so is every branded drug these days. It's all about managed care coverage. The waiting game is a little frustrating however!

Everyone here waiting on eggshells should look at Collegium. They are hiring 100-125 pain reps to launch a better oxycontin product; approval in hand, launch planned for April/May timeframe. Should be a much better product than Teva's....

Who is handling their hiring process? I don't see any sales jobs on their website.

I heard from the hiring manager that they were not expanding and I should move on. Glad I took another position. Everything works out for the best.

I just heard from my hiring manager and was told it WILL happen, just not sure exactly when. They are negotiating the labeling with the FDA. Got letter from Teva HR and timeframe has been changed to mid to late second second quarter.
