Should we start getting worried?

I there are some people on here that desperately need a job. Teva is compensating well, and hooked several of us with the promise of a great salary based on a contingent offer. I have a job and it will get me by until the expansion happens. Will that be March? Will it be May? I don't know and I don't think Teva knows either, but I'm confident it will happen. Teva has more products with the same deterrent technology that will be coming out after Vantrela. If Teva gives in to taking the first label that the FDA will approve it doesn't do the company justice. It doesn't do the reps any justice either. We will all be back on this board complaining about how hard it is to sell because the label is weak. Be patient, my friends. (Let the trolling commence)

How much was your offer because my offer was good but certainly not great?
 












So i need clarification, did the fda tell Teva it needed another study for approval, what is the holdup, this was supposed to be ruled on around thanksgiving...

I never heard anything on an additional study. It was my understanding that they liked the uniqueness of the deterrent technology and wanted more data. Teva already had the data but needed the additional time to organize in a presentable manner. I'm just passing along the information I was given. I don't really know without certain.

I would be stupid to put the exact offer in this "for everyone to see" forum. I hope you understand why. I saw a range on the other forum that was $90-95,000. I know when I started in the pharmaceutical business salaries were in the $50s. Maybe a low six-figure salary isn't great to you or someone else reading this. From my perspective, a company that pays generously to do this kind of job, will get my best effort everyday. We are a society overall with entitlement issues. That statement isn't pointed at you directly. We have seen the worst of worst come from people on this forum who hide behind their anonymous posts. I know criticism is coming. At the end of the day, do you feel fulfilled in your career? Will this be the job that does that for you? Because if you feel that Teva's offer is not up to the standard you have set for yourself, you will never truly buy in. You will likely continue to search for the job where you feel valued.

I agree with your comments and everyone can accept or reject offers I was just curious how much of a percentage increase you got?
 








I got 10%. I don't know of anyone who got any more than that on a percentage basis. I've heard of a few instances where there was a signing bonus.

Thanks for the information, let's hope this expansion happens with a good label. Maybe we will know more after the Teva national sales meeting in early Feb.

THIS IS SOOOOOOO SAD! Why in the world would you Come to cafe pharma to seek information about this "drug launch" (not happening anytime soon) from folks in THE SAME CLUELESS, INFORMATION-LESS, HELL I DONT KNOW EITHER Boat?!

Think practically, if Teva really knew WHEN this "me too" was launching, they would tell YOU THE SALESFORCE! The fact you and everyone wlse in this thread knows squat, outta make you wake up and realize that:

A) real time is passing you buy
B) that other qualified and real sales jobs are out there and available
C) it's really sad to hold onto hopes of a job with nooooooooooo updated communication from corporate
