Should Joe Paterno go to jail?

Unbelieveable that Penn St is allowing this creep to finish the season. There is no better role model than a sick freakish system like that.

Can't wait to see all the top recruits leave their commitment and go somewhere elese. Penn St will be the new SMU of college football, and well deserved.

Before this story broke I was a big Penn State fan.

Now I hope Nebraska cornholes them 55-0.

And I hope they lose every game remaining on their schedule.

Even maggots and shitbugs protect their young.

I see that there were a couple at Penn State charged with failure to report. Specifically, the Athletic Director and the former President of Finance and Business.

Why did Paterno get a pass?

So let's say that I'm a school teacher. And let's say I saw the school janitor raping a 10 year old student in the lunchroom after hours. And let's say that I told the principal about it. And let's say the janitor resigned his position - but I knew that the police were not informed and that the janitor went on with his life - that included contact with other children. And let's say the janitor violated other children after the fact.

Would I be free of criminal responsibility?

So why are 2 people charged with failure to report? If the Athletic Director was "following protocol" and reported the incident to the administrators why was he charged?

The University President in 1998 was not informed of the child rape? So the violator and assistant coach was forced to resign for raping a child in the shower room and the top of the chain knew nothing about it? Huh?

Lot of questions.

Crusty old Joe P was just not amean old man turns out he was/is just a old worn out child molesting endorser. Cannot believe that Penn State does not immediately fire this nasty old fuck and remove his name from everything at the university.

Come on.

He's almost at par with Jesus Christ in the State of Pennsylvania.

There were a big group of supporters outside his home last night cheering him on.

Didn't you read this morning's news?

We're living in an upsidedown world, sir. If you've got the right connections and a little public support - you can get away with practically anything. This is modern day Babylon I tell you!

All of these rapists will walk with full pensions..and the PA taxpayers will be footing their bills while they sit on the beach in Avalon NJ..

If the Cardinal of the Diocese Pennsylvania was elected by popular vote Grandpa Joe would have an opportunity for a second career at the end of the season.

Human beings see only what they want to see.

One of the sickest aspects of this is that Sandusky set up this "charity" to help at risk youth when all along he set up the charity to get him new young boys to rape. The NCAA needs to give the Penn Sate football program the death penalty. Penn State need to fire Joe P and everyone else who did nothing in an attempt to protect their football image. Joe, Sandusky, the AD and all the other old creeps needs to go to jail and be on the receiving end of some butt sex.

If I were the judge overseeing the Sandusky matter I would ensure that all Penn State officials who were aware of Sandusky's child-rape violations and did not bother to contact the police were charged and prosecuted. No "I was just following protocol" bullshit. If anybody played that bullshit with me I would add an enhancement. Next, I would let the trials run their course. Those found guilty would be sentenced to serve their terms with groups of the sexually criminal insane in a communal living arrangement. Preferably homosexuals just to give them a hint of what those little boys felt like when they were violated.

A certain church did the exact same thing.

The NCAA thing you bring up is a real good idea.

This scandal is actually worse than the death penalty. Happy Valley will be the Chernobyl of College Football, the radioactive fallout will take years to dissipate. No major recruit would want to play for a school that condones child rape...

I love it.

The Penn State Board of Trustees fired grandpa Joe's ass along with Pres Spanier. Now we're making some headway. Time for Mr. Prosecutor to step in and indict them both for failure to report. That little 10 year old boy who got buggered in the shower room is finally getting a little justice. Poor kid. He's going to have to live with that shit for the rest of his natural life. By the time this is over he should own the west wing of Penn State.

Finally, some people found a moral code.

I thank the good Lord for giving them the courage to jump Grandpa overboard. :D

He will be well-compensated for what happened to him in Pediophile Valley.

Or did they? PSU's Board of Trustees may look like the good guys here for firing President Spanier & JoePa and installing Rodney Erickson as the acting President. However, I'm not so sure about that.

In the New York Times article, Paterno Is Finished At Penn State, and President Is Out, http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/10/s...rno-and-graham-spanier-out-at-penn-state.html Terri from Pittsburgh writes the following in the comments section:

The board of trustees needs to resign immediately for closing its eyes. As President Spanier’s sidekick, Rodney Erickson oversees Penn State’s Commonwealth Campuses. For June 29 – July 2, 2008, corrupt and perjurious university administrators allowed Sandusky to operate the annual OVERNIGHT football camps at Penn State Behrend. Sandusky served as camp director for Sandusky Associates and charged $305 per child for grades four to nine. America, be the VOICE for innocent children and protect the safety of college students. Pennsylvania’s Commonwealth System of Higher Education needs to step in and appoint an independent person with a BACKBONE as interim president, due to emergency circumstances.

If this is true, it's disgusting and I totally agree with Terri. Penn State is an independent, 'state-related' university (considered a public NOT a state school) and receives public funds. The way in which PSU has operated under this independent control needs to be investigated asap and an independent administrative staff needs to be appointed immediately. A fish rots from the head down.

At least the dominos have started to fall and we are headed in the right direction. The firings of Grandpa Joe and the Pres were a huge plus - even in the face of violent opposition by those at Penn State who apparently support and condone a man who turned his back on a 10 year old boy who was brutally raped on the college campus by failing to report the sexual assault and monster Sandusky to the police.

I am not a absolutist. If someone was shooting up heroin in the shower room and Grandpa failed to report to the cops - I would side with Grandpa. If an assistant coach ran a whorehouse as a side business and Grandpa failed to report to the cops - I would side with Grandpa.

But an innocent child getting brutally raped goes WAY WAY over the line. How can any of these people who knew about it and failed to report look themselves in the mirror in the morning? Especially after this evil monster continued to violate after the fact.

But you don't understand, he won a lot of football games which made the fans feel good about themselves. So that is all that is important. Win football games for your school and you can do whatever you want including raping children. He had a great recruiting class coming in, why should children being raped be a concern?

One thing is unmistakeable here, my good friends.

This is not just about Penn State.

This is about AMERICA and the continuing decline of an empire.

Hundreds if not thousands of Penn State students were protesting Paterno's firing.

Most, if not all, of those students were raised in AMERICAN households.

And you can't blame it on 'stupidity'. You don't get a seat in a Penn State classroom if you are 'stupid'.

It's morals, people. It's ethics. It's knowing the difference between right and wrong. At a certain point the distinction can't be taught. And by the time you reach college age it is already ingrained.

God help America.
