They are hiring people who have less than six months of pharma experience. I believe they are hoping for a legion of koolaid drinking warm bodies to toss as much shit at walls hoping for some to stick. Many won’t make it past the gatekeepers. I don’t think anyone cares. I wonder how long the company will last before it’s purchased?
no one is buying this shithole. Harry-O has the drugs in his name and Axsome leases the rights. It’s an elaborate scam from day 1.
 




Let’s discuss the clueless character that is SFM. If you didn’t realize this already, you’re worthless because a competitor has more market share on United Medicare. Because we all know how HCP’s check a patients specific Medicare plan before prescribing medication. Is it possible that the competitor has coverage across multiple Medicare plans, so an HCP is safe to assume the competitor will be covered and AU will NOT? Does SFM run the nonsense she’s going to say on a conference call by anyone before she makes a complete fool of herself. I forgot that even if she does, one is forced to agree because if you decent in your opinion at all it’s perceived as being negative and not a team player, which puts you on her “list”.

The upcoming regional meetings are running a playbook from 2000’s Big Pharma. Seriously! Dabblers, supporters and advocates, you mean you want us to grow and you’re perplexed why we aren’t? Maybe look at that fact that the disconnect between the field and HQ has caused a culture in which no one cares. Maybe look at the fact that marketing, sales operations and market access are incompetent. Maybe look at a compensation structure that has failed to move the middle and sustain large volume territories. Maybe look at poor management that has led to a mass exodus of top talent. Maybe look at the FACT that HQ is more successful at creating roadblocks for the field than removing them. Maybe look at the fact that the company can’t even order a company car for reps that has a key fob that actually opens the trunk. Does anyone at HQ own a mirror, anyone???
 








Glad to see it’s quieting down on here, in general. I actually think that aside from some style points that could be adjusted and chilling out a bit with trying a little too much too soon, the people coming in here do have a clue as to how to get us to where we want to go. Appears that only a few of the unhappy and disgruntled remain bitching among each other. I am one of plenty of other decently happy reps (is any place perfect-nah) who received but didnt take the calls from BMS, Neurocrine, and ITCI. Guess some didn’t get the outreach and maybe that’s the source of hostility…or maybe they didn’t because their time is spent crying on here and everyone knows it. Either way, the initial razzle dazzle that seems a little too good to be true usually turns out that way. The smart ones saw that for what it will be-just wait. I’m letting it play out here because there is enough that is going alright. Cheers to lemonade in a half full glass. mwah.

What exactly makes you think they know what they’re doing? Please be specific. Is it hiring SFM that talks a good game in regard to developing people, yet her actions speak much louder in the firing of employee’s without first placing them on a plan and after she’s already hired their replacement. Is it the fact that she talks about a clear path to coverage on one Medicare plan and thinks that a sales strategy? Is it the fact that we haven’t had a new marketing piece since launch, but instead simply had the old crap repurposed with fasts & lasts? Is it the market access that failed to get CVS Caremark coverage? Is it sales operations that haven’t figured out a comp plan in which the majority of reps hit plan since launch or how to order company vehicles with functional trunks? Is it the hiring of RBD’s from IM/GP backgrounds that haven’t had any success in IM/GP with AIU since their arrival. Is it the big Pharma sales strategy that we will be introduced to from the 2000’s at our POA’s, dabblers, supporters, advocates or the “sales model”, open, probe, close, you know those real cutting edge strategies. Is it the fact that no one, not a single person or department takes any ownership for the lack of corporate culture, communication, etc., what exactly are you putting in your lemonade?

Hilarious really. SFM and her antiquated pharma 101 isn’t motivating anyone. So many are leaving and looking to leave all because of one person. Great hire with her Axsome
 




SFM hiring initiative, no longer hire tenured reps with psych experience, in fact don’t hire reps with any Pharma experience. Diversify the team with hungry B2B sales reps that aren’t, disgruntled to help “motivate” our tenured reps. Get them cheap, 80K base salaries. In essence, hire clueless reps that won’t realize how dysfunctional corporate is and how ineffective they are in their roles. This makes perfect sense considering we have inept training department and managers with no psych experience, what could possibly go wrong. O’h Axsome, when will you learn?

You must be 1 of the ass hat reps here consistently making the big buck bonuses bc you illegally funneled all your scripts to 1 specialty pharmacy in your back pocket that you had set up prior to launch. Maybe even had the reporting tweaked from that pharmacy? The old switch o roo. I wouldn't take any other calls either if I was you, Can't.

Abbvie here. Heard about this thread from an Axsome friend and had to come observe. This is so amusing and you have no idea how bad SFM can be. Stay in top 25% at all times (which is impossible for most territories) or you will be on her list. Glad she is no longer in my life

She had so much non compliance BS going on in her region that she was fully aware of and urged it to continue. Stay in the Top 25% of you will be a part of humiliation breakfast.

The real question is why would anyone have confidence in AM after bringing on SFM? That should be a glaring problem for ELT. All of the representatives that have left highlighted their lack of confidence in senior leadership during their exit interviews. Based off the old Abbvie threads we have only begun to see the horror that is SFM. Forget about RBM’s being forced to hire reps with no Pharma experience with 80K base salaries because that’s the only fools that would come here now. Inexperienced or inept, one or the other, but either way this place is a dumpster fire.
 




SFM would also want to hire tenured reps for 95,000! Are you serious? She is so damn fake and there were so many people at Abbvie that absolutely loved her! It was the worst 5 years of my life!
 




My entire region is looking to leave or is in the process of leaving because of her. Can’t wait to see the next bonus payoff pyramid. Does SFM also want to build a pyramid for our base pay? So tacky!!
