Severance package

Whoa that escalated quickly.

Leaving personal sexual preferences aside, I think the more pressing matter is - do we actually have a viable pipeline, and if we do, is that enough to sustain us until we launch?

It doesn’t make sense that they would lay a bunch of us off right before they launched a new product. They would just have to hire and train a bunch of new reps. I guess they could get them for cheaper, which is why Supernus hires non-pharma reps to begin with, but still doesn’t seem reasonable to me.

But from March to August, we are basically going to have OXR only and I don’t see how that is sustainable.

I really hope corporate opens up and gives some very transparent information about our future at “our” company.

I’ve heard that industry standard is 6 months severance and 1 year if there is new management/buyout. Lots of reps laid off of work in the industry right now. Ask around

I think you’re right. I think that’s what Shire reps received

Ok, this level of madness has reached an al time high here on CF. The company is very very healthy, we may not be bonusing anything this year but the company is doing just fine. Layoffs are not happening now or anytime within the next 5-7 years. I don't want to hear another word on severance packages.

Since this has been discussed before I’ll tell you the outcome. You aren’t working hard enough and don’t deserve a private room like an adult. Dignity and privacy are not a right and have to be earned

So the really intelligent reps complaining on here suggest doing less POAs with the logic of saving money. Then complain about having to share a room, which if we didn’t would double the expenditure of every POA....

Let’s be honest, you guys just want to complain and want company doing it. Leadership could make every change you suggest and you’d still find something that “isn’t fair.”

This isn’t a millennial conversation as some may hear it. But along side our great people here at Supernus we do have some smart talented folks with bad attitudes who would benefit from the “control what you can control, and forget what you can’t” attitude.

Basically, show some loyalty to the company you chose to come to in order to pursue a great opportunity with. Put your head down and make do with what you have(not what you don’t). Most of us will do this, and it will be clearly noticed for future opportunities. Conversely, it will be painfully obvious to point out the ones who won’t.

The last three sentences are so correct. The choice of growing or stagnating is your choice. Whichever company you are with, this is the same standard and truth.

So we are suppose to be happy about making less money and being asked to do more with less (pulling the copay programs)? Why??? Because there is a carrot out there that we may get? This is hilarious.

What’s hilarious is the sense of entitlement and negativity. First of all, did you honestly earn the highest tier bonus last quarter anyways? Will this change REALLY impact you? I’m guessing based on all your free time, no. Secondly, our copay program wasn’t pulled. The gold and purple cards were never meant to be permanent. And I highly doubt you used many, if any, starter kits - so you still should have a good amount of gold cards that work. Supernus hasn’t taken away special incentive or retention bonus or even regular bonus so suck it up and go after what you can because there’s money to be made and performance to be recognized. What good does it do anyone, but mostly you, to sit around and complain about it?

Hey you Chico, if you really think there is money on the table you really need a reality check. The one advantage we had you took away when you switched our copay program. As far as the cards in the starter kits I guarantee you will deactivate those by January 1st 2020 making them useless. Here's a reality check for you the AG goes generic next March!!!! Get your head out of your ass and start thinking about how we can get 812 to market ASAFP!!!!

I don’t agree with this post all the way. We can’t assume people on here are just lazy. Many of these comments are coming from really good people that just want a sense of security. Supernus is secure. We do have a lot of work to do though so let’s work together and do it.

Oh snap! You literally proved my point! No dignity for the reps. We are but a tool. Hey genius, if we had 2 POAs a year, we could have single rooms, like adults. Thanks for proving my point that corporate doesn’t care

Don’t need to be in corporate to know the data shows spikes in MS after every POA. Are you suggesting we as a company decide to forgo that growth twice a year because you can’t share a hotel room? Sounds like you really care about our long term success.

Some people keep eluding to entitlement in these complaint posts. I think it’s more selfishness and an unwillingness to sacrifice for a greater good. Look if you don’t care about the greater good (building a healthy successful industry leading company) then that’s cool, no judgement. But do us a favor and jump ship now rather than sticking around trying to poison the pot.
