September 2022 layoffs.

Close to everything is not right at TEVA. 2019 was supposed to be the bottoming out of sales and then back to growth. The company is a shambles no R&D assets coming, new products and generics falling over and management obsessed with measuring everything but their own failures and incompetence. Anyone who can’t see the reckoning coming is wearing a blindfold.

That’s why I lie about 80% of the time about my calls. I can meet whatever metrics they want. Doesn’t matter to me.

How about the elephant in the room here: NH is getting paid less per Rx ($60 v $115) and rumor has it their speaker programs just got cut. Is that a clear enough sign?

NS and NH will probably experience the most cuts.

NS and NH have higher salaries then NP reps. NH is not going anywhere unless their drug is not approved. But because they are higher salary and are not the primary austedo salesforce, I would think lower bonus is expected. I would assume the fewer programs has to do with too many programs for the number of speakers. Look at the last town hall. We were well ahead of schedule on speaker programs completed and scheduled. I don't see the freeze as a surprise. Now I do see layoffs coming for NS and some NP. NH will be left alone unless teva has decided not to launch. But I think they are moving ahead with uzedy

That’s kind of delusional thinking regarding NH. Uzedy is at least still 6-10 months away, why would they keep a specific division for a drug that far out? It makes more sense, which I know is not normally applied by Teva, to put us all in one bucket and sort by geography in Sept/Oct. I’m still confused why NP and NH exist. Why didn’t they just have NP, already in CMHC and Psych launch Uz? Didn’t reps carry multiple products at once not to long ago? Maybe if Leadership could actually execute a decent launch, it could be done with one team

Uzedy is expected to be launched feb/March. Also know that the LAI division is not just teva but teva and another company. Which has another LAI to sell with Uzedy in April. They will not have any sales division sell three products. Launching 2 drugs while also selling the flag ship product? I don't see that happening. I see a restructure of np and ns to sell austedo and ajovy. Probably roughly 300 reps leaving NH alone. I see about 30% of NS and NP being let go.

The rumor at home office is that part of NFM in Vagas is also the Uzedy launch party.

OP here...that is incorrect. There is no discussions of any "launch party" in Vegas. Q2 financials to be shared soon, I don't have any insight on what the numbers look like but Austedo numbers better be a lot more than the 153m in Q1. I'll keep you posted the best I can but the September/October timeline is still in play. Its eerily quiet and uncomfortable here in the home office.

OMG we just celebrated Pride month and with all the Woke-ness on our social media and screen saver banners did you not learn anything?

Good point. I learnt that Teva is very good at doing self congratulatory internal campaigns about how inclusive and welcoming they are - good on them for that.

Now back to the our core business, we hopelessly failed at our latest launch (Uzedy), Ajovy is performing poorly, we are drowning in debt, multiple lawsuits still hand over the company like the sword of Damocles, sales are declining and management is mediocre at best, incompetent at worst.

Perhaps if we spent a bit more time on the fundamentals of the business and turning around the company around and a little less on the HR fluff the company might be in better shape.
