Safe vs. Doomed Divisions?

Sounds like it depends upon the potential new contracts and what disease state those products treat. Then you will know whose staying and going, outside of the obvious derm as mentioned earlier.

What half way smart company is going to embark on a co-promote with a company that doesnt even know what its rep footprint will look like in 6 months?

Just my two cents… I think the specialty divisions will incorporate rep 2.0. That would include I&I, oncology and rare disease. Vaccines doesn’t really sell amd r all TBO so prob no change. My thinking is that the inside sales centers in IL and FL are for Internal Medicine. If they have reps it will be navigator positions to fill the BMS contract

I just transferred to Derm. This is the safest division without a doubt. Pipeline is strong and derms NEED us in their office, not virtually. It’s not about us, it’s about them. This is a fact! We are needed more by the company then we need the company. I’m concerned for my prior peers in IM and friends in other divisions. Call centers may be back up plan for IM if people are willing to move. But what other pharma company has call centers????

May everyone have luck come January!

You may be correct about the security of your job, but someone from Derm has posted this consistently for quite some time now.
If you are retained, the size of your geography will increase exponentially.

Bwahahahaha

“NEED us in their office” bwahahaha

Derm will be 1 of the first to go. Eucrisa bombed. Derm is hemorrhaging money. The docs just want free samples of your $800 itch cream.

Does anyone really know what the BM3.3 rep footprint looks like or what the rep qualifications for positions will be? I get that it’s a transformation but what are the f2f sales positions that will be available?
