Has anyone heard a rumor about Lilly selling Elanco to raise some immediate cash just to keep the operation going?

Elanco is the only thing keeping Lilly afloat. If you have been around a while, you would know that ELANCO stands for "Eli Lilly and Company".

The chief Indian in charge at ELANCO has ask for the last couple of years to be spun off so they can do business and not be brought down with Lilly HQ. and J.L in his infinite wisdom said "NO".

It would be a pretty easy split.
