This answers a lot of questions. I heard the HSP fleet drivers had to all drive back mid route to the dc's and pw's. All that man power and money wasted. I'm assuming it was something very serious. It was the perfect timing too because Baxter just went on a nationwide backorder for NS, 1/4ns, d5w. Pathetic. This could be potentially a huge problem.
 






Not to worry I heard anybody displaced by this move will be offered a job in India and all relocation expenses paid by Hospira What a wonderful country for new opportunities and exciting nightlife Ill go can't wait hurry up Hospira

Contact CINDE they can help you. There have been many medical device companies that have started up plants after the Abbott plant opened in 1999. Much of the success for getting companies interested was to tour the Abbott facility and listen to the group speak about its success. Only Baxter was there before Abbott and they were in Cartago about 45 minutes away. If you are serious and you have device experience you can get hired.

The production workers are directly responsible for 90% of everything that transpired with FDA
It was their lack of pride and a poor work ethic that caused this.
Bottom line is disgruntled people who should have never been rehired at spin getting even with what they think is poor treatment. Hospira will ALWAYS be in business in one form or another
Employees aren't going to be that fortunate Oh well, too bad for you all ,but you had it coming !
HSP won't ever give you a good reference , that's the part of FUEL you don't know about ! Just ask people who tried to get work and HR trashed them when contacted. Its done in a way thats perfectly legal but the employee never finds out just his potential new boss who throws his résumé in trash If you were ever on a PIP it was disclosed if you were absent too much it was disclosed if you were ever written up for ANYTHING it was disclosed.

Mike is not progressing at a pace you would expect. There is only a short period of time that you can continue to blame problems on Begley and his management team. Ball has been at the reign for over three years and the problems that existed when he joined still remain.
A few glaring observations looking back retrospectively. First the hiring of Jim Hardy was a big mistake. He did more damage than good as the COO. The good thing was he recognized he was over his head and found another job. In addition going back a decade or two the manufacturing facilities were always managed very tightly both financially as well as accustomed to dealing with a shortage of manpower. They had knowledgeable folks watching over the business as well as defending it to outside agencies. When attrition took place the new people could not perform at the same level. No excuses, the agencies have gotten tougher and the businesses were taking on too much risk. Now the big question is where does it go from here ??
 






Things are starting up in Vizag India as planned. Product to be rolling out soon. If you happen to notice things are not getting attention at the plants in U.S., there is a reason. Don't be a puppet to those at the top. Have some dignity. They expect you to walk into the slaughter house without any resistance, while they line their pockets with millions.

The management is still responsible for hiring and training regardless. And 90% of the FDA troubles are NOT caused by the production workers. Go read the official FDA recall proclamations and tell us which are caused by workers. Get someone to help you if you can't understand or lack the background.

Maybe it was because Chris Begley and Miles White did not invest in facilities from about 1998 on, the FDA audits just reveal that...just enjoyed the cash flow from HPD. Then Miles offered Begley...the deal of a lifetime.
Deals like that cost...and have to be paid from some other account(s).
