Restructuring

Maybe the dumbest question on cp ever. Why is it less of an issue to lay someone off who is 25 than 65? They call that discrimination. Look up the definition. You should be ashamed for being so ignorant.

Hopefully you are just trolling on this issue and not just world class stupid. Nothing sadder than someone who is stupid, but hasn't figured it out.

G Men: ummm ya...I am sure your right and it has NOTHING to do with the millions of taxpayer dollars OI took to hire then laid off employees with no severance at Christmas & the unfair layoff practices of not laying off anyone related by marriage or birth to management.

Well played G Sr, well played.

Some of the same managers "work from home" all the time and are unavailable on those days. So OI is paying for 2 employees from the same family when only one of them comes to work.

The "zero awards" will NOT be stopped. This is a big money maker for someone in HRs husband. On the bright side instead of wardrobe malfunctions this year, entertainment will be twerking clowns. Please submit your nominations for the 1) department let the most employees go, 2) the VP with the biggest expense account, 3) the genius who planned an expansion while OI is close to closing its doors forever.

Clown twerk Bro, clown twerk

Speaking of the expansion that will never happen why did they keep the two highest paid employees (over 100k) in project management who don't do a damn thing and let the worker bees go that work their asses off? Love to know who made that decision. Oh and why don't they try selling the millions of dollars of equipment they purchased prematurely for the expansion to recoup at least some of the money! Maybe that would require too much work for the ones sitting around!!!!

Their friends!

I bet many will be forced to leave over the next 3 months, I got my resume out.

Smart move. What I have heard is mid-Jan. Word is this won't effect the Execs or family/friends of Execs, but it will impact non-management and most lower level managers ( no loss there - most "wink-wink work from home" half of the time anyway)
