Re: Reps/Mgrs with Forest early to mid 1980\'s

I think I interviewed T. Wood in the 80's.

Perhaps with just a little more information, such as your name and company at that time, I could confirm your hunch.

OJF at the Houston galleria.

Then you must be either R. Gililand or R. Bell; or perhaps B. Ashman or C. Toland, with whom I must have done a better job selling the painting.

Randy moved to Montana after a short stint in Managed Care. He was the original Malboro Man. Curt Semenmanson and Toland waere pretty much fired in the middle 90's. The 3 Amigos tooks his place, Devlin, Azzari, and Renner. That last a couples of year till Renner moved back to the Bible Belt.

Toland didn't step down he was forced out. There were alot of issues when he went inside. He was the golden boy but fell from grace fast.

I didn't know Randy left Montana. Weren't Randy and Ronnie Bradley always living in Helena Montana? Anyone know what Randy is up to these days?

You are correct, with the exception of a short stint in Longmont, CO in the early '90s. RB is doing well and currently involved, along with me, in a new start-up pharmaceutical company established in August 2004. We are both retired first and foremost, but keeping our fingers in the industry, so to say. It is, in my opinion, the very best of industries and indeed a labor of love.

To the above poster, RB has quite smoking and in good health - both physical and mental, which, in reference to the later, seems not to be the case with you.

Anyone remember Gary Slade?

[/ QUOTE ]
Gary was a true pioneer with Forest; blazing the trail in both Federal Government and Managed Healthcare sales. I knew Gary well for several years prior to his passing. I met no one with negative words about Gary, as he was one of few genuine good people.

[/ QUOTE ] I also remember Chuck Merski and Rich Gordon being trailblazers along with Gary Slade. What ever happened to these guys?
