Reorg is on, get ready

So how are we getting news of these structural changes and those impacted? Are we going to wake up on Monday morning and have an email address this? Invitation to stay home that day and get on a conference call?

Congrats to the lucky people on way out bc this idiotic and pointless reorg. But please STOP with the LinkedIn posts lIke: “After X years at Novartis, I've finally decided to pursue other opportunities. I'd like to thank my stupid manager for letting me watch porn and drink at work. Cheers to my coworkers for being backstabbing, shit talking a$$holes.
What's next for me?...stay tuned for updates soon"

I honestly don't understand why we have 2 reps per territory in CRM. Access in offices mostly sucks, and because budget for in office lunch has been cut insanely, some of those offices won't even hear about Leqvio or Entresto. Only need one rep to do this job per territory.

Probably true comments esp. with covid.

Field salesforce to be cut about 15%- more in some divisions that are heavy (cardio) and less in more lean divisions (immunology). Hybrid sales / marketing positions (like ISS, TLL for example) will be hit really hard. ABL's will be equally hit although some will be able to repost for any open sale territories. Severance package seems fair 3 weeks per year of service is what I heard plus any outstanding RSU. Get your resume ready as with any company the decisions are done via a 3rd party. "Good" reps will of course be encouraged to apply for any spots that end up being open.

The CIA around programming (with another one coming thanks Cardio!) and access post Covid made these changes necessary. Business hasn't performed like the board expected and Vas under huge pressure. Victor has his hands all over this and will take the much of the blame/credit post changes. They are grooming him as next CEO.

Good luck and godspeed for those that don't make it.

3 weeks per year?! I’ve never heard of that low severance. CRM better not be affected, since there was just an expansion.
