That is definitely exaggerated. 20 reps at most displaced once all is said and done.

Can't speak for Spine distributors...

But the vast majority of Trauma and CMF reps do not make anywhere near that anymore

10 years ago ? maybe some were approaching that

but now the commissions are typically lower and territories are 'shared' by multiple reps

plus no car, 100% commission and no expenses

still a lot of good territories though. but also remember most CMF and trauma reps work a fair share of nights and weekends i personally work at least 1-2 weekends per month and evening cases are frequent
