I am hoping that someone soon has the backbone to step up and tell all what is really is going on. Those left to try and keep offices open and bring in decent revenue deserve an answer. I could care less about this so called Storm Consulting. Rotech still has some mouths in the big chairs that should be stepping up and supporting those employees that have supported them for years. Come on Rotech, be the hot shot you always claimed to be in this industry. Support those workers and stop the slaughter. If you keep up on this path, the rumors alone will bury you.

I couldn't have said it better myself. To bad upper management don't have the balls to tell us the truth.
 






Another 13 hr day and I'm calling it quits for the night. Sad thing is people were left without our services once again on all the PST'S routs. There is only so much a skeleton crew can do.

The ship is sinking. If you can find a life boat (competitor) jump on it. Patients are starting to switch to competitors also. It's just a matter of time before the doors are closed. Save yourself if you can.

You know, with massive RIFs going on at Rotech all over the country and all the pressure from skeleton crews and reduced staff with absolutely no definitive information on the direction of the company overall other then all the walls closing in and every day a new RIF, how in the world can you come on here and even with good conscience reprimand or harrass anyone who is just worried or upset?

How about specifically all the people who are RIFed? You can not RIF the level of people that Rotech has and not get some blowback and anger from the very people you dumped on? Wow, I just can not believe anyone higher up new or old who is HUMAN would waste their time and come on here and take jabs like this and kick people when they are down. Ashamed is a word I am thinking of and sad is another considering these ARE peoples lives we are talking about here in a country and economy that is very unstable at the moment. I do not blame people for being concerned who are still at Rotech or upset and angry if they were RIFed who want to come here and vent. Hate to say it, but to even imply that some random driver, LCM, or CSR at the location level was the cause of the downfall of Rotech is just down right sadistic. If you are implying that then that is just sick and passing the buck.
 






Complaining about WHINING sounds like a tale from the past, a very harsh RM who is no longer. This site is open to any and all with mixed feelings, attitudes, compassion and just plain hatred for what is going on. Whether you/I are still employed or not, Rotech was once a decent place to work and those with longevity knew/know that. It pains most employees to not care about their patients and be just a company that provides DME and no service. Someone better soon come up with a new mission statement, we care about nothing seems appropriate
Just my opinion, and I'm allowed just that, an opinion, I think that the RIFs are NOT over. Only time will tell. I think this STORM group is living up to its name, causing destruction some of which cannot be re-built or repaired. And why should they, they just want their cash investment back and to hell with the rest. So be it because the powers at Rotech are allowing this.

Are you kidding me? 10 years of not calling in, working ot, giving 1000% for crap pay and very few raises and I'm the downfall? Nope mgt ruined this co and they know it. Now that they've sunk this ship they're blaming the crew and demanding they fix it. Like I said you MUST be mgt.

I never said YOU were the downfall. I suggested you exchange your whining for a little constructive effort.
Maybe if you practiced your reading skills, you would be a much happier person.

Get a grip and stop being so defensive.
You are on this board trying to bring down everyone's moral and I am trying to point out that there are those ALSO working 13 hr days attempting to revive this company.

While I sympathize with you and other's stress in this restructuring, I feel it is also important to stop blaming everything on management. It is of no help.

They are not working 13 hour days by choice or to rebuild the company, they are doing it for the job and to not be unemployed period.

Wow.........and the arrogance continues.....look what was done and is being done TO the people who ARE Rotech? Not the managers AM and above...but yes, the people who pull the load day in and day out. And I am not talking about on here. Just using the word "whining" in the context that is was is really pretty childish and power trippy. And I think most people on here would agree.

Again, a lack of understanding. This board is not for building "morale" at Rotech or "protecting management" at Rotech or for you to "manage" morale, or under the control of Rotech for their benefit. Stop trying to steer the conversations, morale, and emotions of people on a board that you have no control over! Let people vent and just leave them alone. Instead of talking about how other people are whining, why dont you start talking about Rotech since that is what this board is for? If you really UNDERSTOOD and sypathized, then you would just stop trying to harass and disrespect people on here who are upset and venting about a company that by all measures is a disaster right now.

Actually, everyone who lost their job was HAND PICKED. I heard it directly from an AM. He stated, and I quote, "Everyone who was RIF'd were pre-selected from corporate." The names were sent in an email.
