Brian is the biggest piece of trash. The doctors have not been paid in SIX months!! That is EXACTLY why the docs are terminating the study, and the poor PERs are getting laid off. PAY YOUR DOCTORS, BRIAN!!!!!!

The doctors aren't going to be paid; ever. They've come to that realization. The whole sales strategy now revolves around the fact that they anticipate those accounts will be lost. That's why the have the new (inept) sales team out pushing the LSA vs PSA.
They expected this new "stellar" sales team to be closing accounts quickly, none of which have actually materialized.
Losing NSPC was the nail in the coffin. Proove CANNOT survive with the current volume.

They quit having the intention of paying any doctors in the fall with the move toward MACRA, that was clear even with the older accounts from the LSA sent out in January. Funnily enough, this was also around the time backlash for kickbacks started to grow and they also retained in-house counsel who probably told them to get their shit together. In his responses, aside from the BS "verifiable facts," "fake news" and "scientific claims",he claimed docs are getting paid on average $500-600/month. What a CROCK. I wish I made thousands a month for doing next to nothing.

There's a reason they aren't paying the doctors anymore, and lack of funds isn't one of them. Wake up, folks. You can't bill for tests on dates when patients weren't seen, no matter how you try to spin that with report generation dates.

Remaining employees with any sense - Wednesday should have been a wake up call if this message board wasnt already. I know it's scary, but just get out. You'll find another job.

Yes, the scheduler is extremely illegal. Brian just milking the system because he thinks he found a loophole. Everyone in the company knows it's illegal.

if this is true, shouldnt K and the whole IT dept be shitting bricks right about now?

Yes it's true. Generating reports every 30'days after the order to get more money from insurers and the government is illegal. Piller said it and it is the truth. That's the kind of stuff people go to jail for. Why do you think the FBI raided us? It wasn't just to pay us a nice visit

1 - Proove sales brochure This Proove brochure offered doctors $30 for each patient signed up for a study of genetic tests meant to predict patients’ responses to pain medications. A typical physician could make $144,000 a year for “research” that, for many, involved no actual work, STAT found. A separate toxicology study listed on this page has been discontinued

. 2 - Proove legal counsel comments on HHS fraud alert This memo written by Proove Biosciences’ legal counsel in 2014 provides justifications for company business operations. It was drafted in response to a 2014 general fraud alert from the US Department of Health and Human Services regarding firms that might be engaging in kickbacks or other illegal actions under the guise of “research.”

3 - Patient lab results example Genetic test results from Proove often provide contradictory data. In one section, this report says the patient should take, at most, a greatly reduced dose of the antidepressant fluvoxamine or the antipsychotic drug haloperidol. Later in the report, detailed results for metabolism of those drugs suggest the opposite. They say the patient processes both normally. Sources said many doctors found such reports baffling and ignored them. The document has been redacted for patient privacy.

4 - Proove physician standing order Physicians sign standing orders like this to authorize a Proove research assistant to order any or all of several test packages for any patient in a practice, regardless of the patient’s condition. The doctor is expected to sign off on the testing, but sources told STAT that many doctors approved tests for most patients regardless of their diagnoses.

5 – “Unbundled” billing example This document shows an insurance company’s explanation of benefits for a patient whose DNA sample was collected on one date, but billed by Proove on several dates of service — a process called “unbundling” that is meant to increase payments. In this case, the insurer rejected the claims as “experimental.” The document has been redacted to protect the patient’s privacy.

also paying docs to order tests is a kick back no matter how you slice it. making your own fake research studies so you can bill for tests and paying docs to order is not legal. This is why we got raided and why we're going down in a ball of flames. Do you think anyone will go to jail?

Just out of curiosity, do the employees think the test actually works. There seems to be a big difference between what is reported by STAT and Proove's response. If you work there what do you think.
