Whatever the outcome rest assured that the person hired won't compromise the employment status of said ctl's wife. All about protecting the rep married to the hiring manager. Reps will be shuffled around to accommodate this sad situation. Shame on ALL ctl's who put this chess game together. Sacramento needs a serious intervention, HR ring ring.
Ain't no one going to be shuffled around as a vacancy is a vacancy. Openings must be legitimately posted. The situation you mention is unfortunate and the outcome being watched carefully. Better lawyer up, there is so much documentation someone's gonna get paid.
