Primary Care Expansion NEURO

Yikes.. I thought that was an industry standard. How do they get people to work here?
Nothing at ITCI is industry standard. We were in the field two months after the Covid pandemic started and they PIP'd people who could get access to their prescribers. It took four years to finally offer a holiday shut down at Christmas. They didn't conduct an employee survey until four years post launch. No communication. No transparency at all. It's been over a year since Genoa stopped reporting and they still haven't figured that out.

Doubling down and creating pods in primary care? Eliminating NSSO? Expanding the NSS team into smaller territories? This is a recipe for disaster. There isn’t enough business to keep all those territories afloat. Classic big pharma over hire. Seen this play out before. They will cut people year one when those geographies don’t produce.

ITCI is a joke. One trick pony. Just look at the retread leaders and you can see why they follow all the broken models they worked through in the past. Zero innovation or new ideas. Sad really. They had a chance to be different.

Curious what you would do differently? What innovative ideas would you implement with the sales team that would completely disrupt the broken model and revolutionize the industry?

Here is an idea. Keep territories to one single rep. Period. Easy to measure performance and it gives everyone enough work to maintain their jobs. Idea number two. Listen to the field and managers on the ground. When we tell you we don’t need an overlay because access already sucks, listen. Number three. You know the territories with regional and national speakers always win. Stop playing games and let us add a speaker. Here’s something else to think about. Get Compliance off our ass. Our Compliance team is a bunch of out of control hens. They find problems where none exist. They creat rules no other company forces on the field. Grow a pair at the senior leadership level and get them off our backs. Another idea! Take physical and Medicaid access into account when you build the goals. Not all territories have the same opportunity. Stop pretending we do. Finally, pay attention to exit interviews. Our turnover is crazy high. A lot of people are unhappy. If you can’t do that, at least pretend to care.

Listen and make changes. In the end, ITCI will get better results and Sharon and Mark can continue to sell their millions of dollars in stock every quarter and it won’t even make a dent in their holdings. See that? Now everyone can be happy.

I just interviewed for the Tacoma Wa overlay position . The manager is a nightmare during the interview. Just imagine what working for her would be like. I was wondering why this position has been posted and not filled on Linkedin for months. Now I know. Nobody could work for her!

These are good ideas. And they are obvious. Nothing crazy.
