Attn losers: You are all pathetic and yet entertaining to listen to. Your cries about how big bad Polymedco ruined your life are hilarious the fact of the matter is that you couldn’t sell and you were all fired, yes you were all fired. I know it’s hard to hear that, again, but it’s the truth. Accept the fact and move on.

Funny -- I don't know a single Field Rep who was fired. All of them, like myself, ran away of their own accord as quickly as they could get out. I don't think Polymedco ruined my life. Quite contrary, it actually made me a much stronger person, and when I have interviewed for jobs since then, I have been a lot more careful, and made much better decisions. I view Polymedco as a sort of refiners fire. I was made stonger and better by the horrific experience.

That being said, would I wish the experience on anyone else. Abosolutely not! I wish someone had clued me in before I had taken the job. The best part of having worked for Polymedco: It makes every other job that I've had since then seem like an absolute dream compared to that 2 year nightmare of working at Polymedco. So thank you Polymedco for that. I still would not recomend this job to anyone.

You are all a bunch of pathetic whining losers who could not handle the commitment required to work at a great company like Polymedco! Does Polymedco require a lot? Yes! Unless you are committed to working 80 to 100 hrs a week, you won't succeed here. Unless, you are willing to put Polymedco first in your life, you won't suceed here. Instead of focusing on your success, all of you lazy losers can do is complain. I don't understand my commission Waah! You're not paying me what you said you would Waah! I can't be completely honest to my customers Waah! I've seen you all role play and all of you could spend less time whinning and more time practicing your selling and sliding skills. Polymedco is better off without waste like you.

I am a regional sales manager for another company, same industry. A friend asked me about Polymedco - and I found this thread of information. After reading through these postings, I would be grossly concerned about Polymedco sales managers posting replies to this site and engaging in this debate. Outsider looking in, it seems there is some truth to the matter, and more importantly, complete absence of professionalism. As someone previously stated "excessive turnover is not without due cause." If I were considering a position within this company, I would ask myself - why are the managers on this site, responding to these statements, and by doing so, giving them credibility? I would be incredibly disappointed in myself if I were a manager for this company - knowing that employees have so much resentment. Whether it is true or not, people are posting the comments and their is clearly an unbalanced, unethical, immoral culture. I would never dedicate my livelihood to this company. I feel sorry for you.

I worked for Polymedco and all I will say is that I am friends with over 10 reps who used to work there now all make over $175 in their next jobs based upon the experience from Polymedco. BOTTOM LINE, bad work environment but if you can be top performer for a couple of years the big bucks should be there.

So in summary what everyone is saying is that if you enjoy working at Polymedco you'll stay and make good money, if you don't you'll put in your two years and move on to a higher paying job, what is wrong with that????

Except fot the fact that the "good money" that they promise you when you interview for the job never happens. This job didn't pay near what they kept saying that it would. So you end up working for a crappy company, having a poor quality of life and making no money to speak of. It is medical device experience, if you can't find it any other way. However, it will feel like you have sold your soul to the devil himself.

This is laughable. "Put Polymedco first in your life?" Grow Up. It may comes as a shock to you that some people do expect to be paid what they were promised. When reps leave Polymedco to pursue real opportunities it would be nice for prospects to recognize them as an honest business person with some integrity. This is obviously someone directly out of college with no life or work experience. "Practice your sliding skills" thanks for making my day. Your message is just silly. "Losers who complain?" Sounds like your the dipshit still working there while everyone else moved on to bigger and better. Don't worry, even though you seem a bit slow to catch on, there's better opportunities out there for you as well. Get of your lazy butt and pursue them!

I really can not express how bad I feel for you. If you believe this to be true, you're either related to Pete or you've never worked in a professional environment that fosters growth and development. I really hope that someday you escape Polymedco and get to experience what a real company is like. You will then be able to look back and realize that you absolutely SHOULD understand how you get paid and that you SHOULD get paid what you were promised. I wish you all the luck in the world. Hopefully you're right out of college and you have many years ahead of you to find something that treats you as you should be treated. You're obviously extremely loyal which is a wonderful quality to have, it is just so sad that you waste your loyalty and passion on a company that I'm sure has done nothing to deserve it. Make sure that you feel good about yourself at the end of the day…you obviously have a lot of anger inside. Examine for a moment if that anger comes from the environment you’ve chosen to be in at work. Best wishes!

Wow, this is an eye opener. Won't be looking for work at this company.

The lame posts trying to discredit the sales reps that left are totally transparent, further illustrating a lack of professionalism and credibility. It's exactly what crappy companies say after people leave.

For the poor souls still working for this company, tape record every interaction you have with the management. Phone calls, conference calls, ride alongs- everything! Believe me, when the government starts investigating fraud, the company will throw the sales reps under the bus in a NY minute. I worked for a company where that happened and the only person who really survived was the original whislte blower. They took everyone down, even the sales reps who didn't like what they were being told to do. Some ended up facing jail time. It was unbelievable. Billing for samples to test reimbursement? Holy shit, hope you look good in stripes! I'd be taping all of the sexual, racist and unprofessional remarks a well. Could help you in gaining a good severence package from these wankers!

To the poster who had to interview during September 11th- that is now my standard of professional, ethical and moral behavior that I judge prospective employers on. How did they handling their sales force that day? If the answer is business as usual, didn't cancel meetings, didn't offer support to their NY reps or anyone else that may have been affected, then I can just guess at how well I'll be treated during normal times.

Best of luck to their current sales force, get the experience on your resume and then move on. Working 80 to 100 hours a week for a base of around 50K? That's rediculous. There're better entry level jobs out there that won't cost you your soul.

I have worked at Polymedco for over 10 years. While the company has had some ups and downs, all and all has been a great company to work for. What company out there hasn't had it's share of problems. Sure they are demanding and require a lot. Shouldn't any company require a lot of it's employees. Those with true dedication and willing to put in the time and effort will suceed. Many have left bacause they simply did not have what it takes to be sucessful. They were not willing to make the sacrifice for success and pay the price to be a polymedco sales professional.

Holy Crap!! Get your own Board, or some type of enema. F'ing give it up already!!! Sounds consistently like sell your soul, make big bucks. Pick your goal or golden idol, but then STFU...

You obviously don't work in sales. Ups and downs, more like down and down with sales reps. Look at the tenure of the sales reps, longest 26 mnths. Demanding and require a lot.... that's an understatement, if you look at the hours they put in vs. compensation, its a joke. I have seen reps put in the dedication and time you speak, where are they? fired or left for greener pastures. How's that for PASSION???

This is our board jack ass... If I were you I would spend more time searching for your new job then posting remarks on this site. Let it go my friend, you were fired because you could not sell, move on....

Oh... Sorry, I work for Quest, but your Polyspedco post fits in here just fine. I assume you got fired, since this is your quote and you are spending time on this board:

I for one am glad that I worked at Polymedco because no matter where I work now or how bad it gets...it will always be better than Poly. I got to see what hell on earth was like so since I left Polymedco, it's been smooth sailing all the way! I also will have tons of laughs to share with my fellow soldiers who were all certainly wounded in the battle but somehow came out in one piece. If you have never worked at Polymedco, you will never truly understand the insanity of it all…trust me, our friends, significant others and spouses have tried to understand and have listened to hours of our rants but you can never fully get the madness unless you were actually lucky enough to experience it. I have no anger left inside towards Polymedco or the cretins that run the place…I’m at a company that I really enjoy working for, I’ve been promoted based on performance and I actually get paid on time and what I’m owed so the anger is gone but it’s been replaced by empathy for those of you who work there now and amusement that there are actually people like the ones that have worked there for years. So that being said, thank you for the memories Polymedco, I am certainly a more tolerant person because of my experience!

I am glad for one that I am currently working for Polymedco. Not only do I get to sell a top-notch line of produts but I am also getting paid very well for my efforts. The min. for anyone that has any sales ability is $100,000. The top reps are making $150,000 and above. The former reps that are posting negative comments are those that thought they could sit on their fat asses and make six figures. To make 6-figures takes work and Polymedco's products makes this a much more attainable then other companies. With Poly's new VP in charge there is no stopping this company.

This last post is obiously from someone in management in Polymedco. Most likely Pete, Jay, or JJP. I currently work at Polymedco and this post is full of outright lies. Everyone worth anything here is either currently looking for another job or waiting out time untill they can look for another job. No one in the sales force has been here for more than two years. That alone should really tell you something. No company can have this amount of turnover and have things going so well and people being paid so much. The sales force turns over here faster than the hamburgers at McDonalds!

WOW...making the big bucks and clearly can't spell or use grammar correctly. Might want to think about that.

I literally started laughing when I read this. This comment was surely written intending to mitigate some of the bad press Polymedco is getting on the board. Work for Polymedco, wonderful...good for you! Just don't lie to others and try to lure them to this insanely dysfunctional company. You will never get good press from former employees who left Polymedco because they treat pepole terribly…it is a HORRIBLE company to work for which is obvious by the many, many people who have taken time to say so.
