If you think about it, applied only pays on growth annually, so majority of your 200-300k territory a quarter is staying in the hilal’s pocket. Yes of course they want to grow grow grow. But look at the numbers, they’ve been printing money for years and now with tax breaks, Said and his family are buying all commercial real estate in RSM at a heavily discounted price. The real genius is that then they rent out the buildings to applied on a 100year lease. So Said’s great great grandkids have something to run into the ground. It’s also great strategy for when Dema decides to sell the company to Styker and still has Applied/Styker to pay the leases for another 80years.

You need to realize who you actually work for, Said on day one pulled the wool over everyone’s eyes just like the Catholic priests. Take advantage of unassuming naive young people.
 






I've been hearing about a sharp reduction Motus reimbursement next year to go along with a dramatically reduced comp plan. They realize they can't continue to pay out 30%. Or rather Hilal doesn't want to pay us that. Taking away from his profits. From what I'm hearing(if true) then it's time to leave Applied. Has anyone heard this as well? My guess is they realize Voyant will flop and they know the veteran reps are going to leave and probably are counting on that because they can backfill the territories with those 23 year old associates from that program and pay them nothing.
 






That has been that dipshit’s MO since the early to mid 2000’s. More so in the past decade because after he was successful in lobbying, I mean crying like a bitch, to Congress 15 years ago about how Ethicon locks the little guy out of any contract negotiations due to bundling, Applied was basically on cruise control because then they just had to get on some GPO contracts and the rest was smooth sailing. They had a few reps that killed it circa 2009-2012 if I recall, but then the ship sailed and Said was actually upset that some of these reps were making so much money. I heard this from a manager who is a very good friend of mine. Said is a very greedy individual who truly believes it’s HIS company and will never reward those who truly know how to lead under him because of the nepotism. He’s all about himself. Bottom line is, there are managers still sitting on stock options because 20+ years ago Said promised them stock options when Applied goes public. Well, here we are in almost 2019 and the original investors wanted him to sell and he refuses to & at least 4 people I know left and still have that worthless stock. Now he thinks the MO for success is “the product will sell itself” so he doesn’t need highly clinical & educated reps with relationships. A hot piece of ass that just graduated from Florida State or UCLA will do!

Applied came into the market place and dramatically reduced the cost of healthcare all while turning a profit. We showed hospitals and health systems that we can make a better product, give surgeons choice all while reducing the cost. This company is a revolution and it's sad to see people on here who don't respect that. Always whining about how they don't make enough money. You are paid handsomely at Applied and you know it.

As for applied paying handsomely.... I agree for those semi retired losers making 120-150k for 10 hrs a week. For those that actually try and only make $100k that’s not cool.

And please stop with the college grad engineers that think applied is the real deal. They have NEVER created their own product, everything is a knock off from something previous.

Applied has made these commodities better I agree but they have NOT brought anything new to the table.

Medtronic and JnJ have the MIT grads working on creating new products. Said hires only minorities from Cal State LA to figure out to get his warehouse full of illegals to build a copycat product.

For all you who are still at Applied and are reading this, stay no longer than two years at Applied. Get some experience under your belt and then around your two year mark you will an attractive candidate for a real device job. If you stay any longer you are killing the chance you get a good job and wasting your prime years for earning. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

I will be the first to admit, going to college these days is almost worthless. You turn into a brain dead zombie from all the Progressive, cultural marxist, diversity bullshit they push down your throat. Turns people into nothing more than soy filled social justice warriors. So I'm a little torn on that to be honest. If anything Said is probably now requiring the new hires to there to have degrees so the likelihood of their political beliefs aligning with his are hiring. He's a capitalist, but wants everyone underneath him to be a socialist and runs his company with that mindset. You think JnJ would have ever made it to where they are now if the Johnsons had run their company like Applied?

This is nothing new. About a year ago I heard one of the ZD’s talking to a GM about what it takes to get promoted here. That GM said “prove yourself through hard work”. Basically if you translate that it means Applied can’t hire top notch talent because they all go to the big boys like Medtronic, Stryker, Nevri, St Jude, & JnJ. The same can be said for reps. The top reps and managers are going to where they get paid a respectable salary and are paid their market value. This company is for leftovers and losers that can’t hack it anywhere else.

You are not on vacation, you are going to your Zone Meeting for work. This isn't fun and games, it's to become better. You clearly need the work due to the poor performance you all have turned in regarding Voyant. We have the plan in place, it's time for you all to learn to execute that plan and if you follow the guidelines we have set you will be successful.
