Phathom

Reps are gonna start training prior to PDUFA date. They’re pretty confident about approval.
It’s clear they read this board. My offer had a Nov 14 start date but I declined. You will need to double dip at your current job to be safe if the drug doesn’t get approved (EE only/non-EE Pdufa is in January). I declined since I’m in GI and it’s lateral for me. My base was $150 and my current gig matched it. Good luck

Heard that training is virtual.

National launch meeting early next year.

November & January hiring waves.

Base: $100k - $140k.

$40k bonus.

Fleet vehicle.

Great PPO health insurance.

401k with matching.

Paid time off

Shut down between Christmas & New Years.

Voquenza Dual & Triple pack 14 day regimens already FDA approved for H-pylori. On GoodRx they're $800-$900.

On track with studies to obtain erosive & non-erosive gerd indications.

FDA requested more product stabilization information, which delayed launch & hiring.

Vonoprazan is first PCAB to launch in U.S. Phathom has licensing rights from Takeda in Canada & Europe too.

The ee healing rates are 95% vs ppis near 80%.

Rapid onset day 1 vs 3-5 days with ppis

Potent by binding with stimulated and resting parietal cells. Does not require acid to be activated. Achieves target 24-hour acid suppression within 2 hours of a single dose.

Durable with 7 hour half life vs <2 hours with ppis.10 to 100 fold better acid control vs Prevacid and Nexium.

Managed care coverage is what makes or breaks the first novel treatment of gerd in 30 years.

Great corporate culture with CEO coming from Celgene.

Do you know how much paid time off and what kind of fleet vehicle reps get? Thanks

Any updates on approval? Is the launch seriously going to take place over the Holidays? Still skeptical about quitting my current job
Don’t quit your current job! Double dip until approval otherwise you’ll be screwed when drug doesn’t get approved. That’s a big risk to take. Originally, when I was offered the position, the start date was November 14th, with pdufa on the 17th, there was no risk. Been here and done that (took a job with unapproved drug, it didn’t get approved!) and I lost nothing. This market for pharma reps is TIGHT due to multiple layoffs. YOU will take all the risk now with little to no reward if they can’t show FDA stabilization studies that satisfy them. Easy pass since they changed start date. That’s management with poor planning, Big Red Flag!

I was told start date is Nov 6. Very confused everyone is hearing different things. Just curious when we will be out in the field launching with approval pending. Not sure when I would quit my current job

Start date is the 6th. 2 week home training. Out in the field the week of thanksgiving for those that're currently hired. Those that are still in the process in late October will most likely start training on the 11th of December.

For the love of god before you quit your job in this environment please look at the current share price (down 50% in the past month, clearly someone knows something) and how many times we have failed to bring this to market…
