I do work here and yes we’ve been back since the end of May. Every other company is allowing their reps to stay in The field if they have been vaccinated. Why not the ones who make the vaccine?

Well, states are going red pretty fast. And it’s crazy that the makers of the vaccine don’t allow their vaccinated reps with said vaccine out to do their job. It’s the craziest thing I’ve seen. The offices are confused and erases the confidence in our vaccine.

On the vaccine topic. Just ask a colleague who has not been vaccinated about the email they received from HR. If not vaccinated, will be required to do a PCR test 2x a week. If not compliant, WILL NOT be able to even conduct virtual meetings and WILL NOT get paid that week.

You'll feel so much better when you get that offer letter and that start date. It's a Shawshank-level euphoria of standing outside the prison. The first thing you'll want to do is hurl everything from this company into a dumpster at Nolan Ryan fastball type speeds. Then you will go buy new clothes to wear to meet your new team. And every day being at work will feel great. You just have to get out of here to be able to do it.

And there are animal reservoirs so it will never go away like smallpox (which only circulated in humans, so it was eradicated).

At which point do people realize this is a completely manufactured fear? How do you justify the regular flu just disappearing off the face of the earth?

Because perhaps social distancing, and mask wearing also prevents other diseases and infections, like the flu. And also there is a flu vaccine
