Not everyone updates their linkedin page. Use your common sense to know that most sales reps are in the field working and not talking on linkedin or facebook. Only the unemployed ones that were fired spend their days on these sites. Nice try bashing Pathway, but you lost the argument in every way possible. Good luck to you.

at best estimates pathway genomics (they actually hide the amount and never give a roster to us) is less than 40 reps, by next Friday a few more will have resigned and / or laid off.

regardless if they were fired or not. do you really think the remaining Salesforce much less the employees at pathway genomics have any loyalty to this pathetic company?
mark my words by 8/19 you will see more reps cut loose for no reason right before the date of having to pay the recruiters that placed them at pathway.
pathway no only screwed themselves with employees but now has a poor reputation with vendors as being dead beats and not paying their bills.

there is no hope for this company with the reputation they have earned.
 



Pathway's real plan...

1.) Offer insanely high salaries and proposed commission plan to lure reps with great relationship to Pathway.

2.) After 2 months keep only the reps who hand landed whales or have to potential to land something very large within 90 days. Only reps that don't question and go with the flow will be kept. Those who speak up to much or have needy territories will be cut.

3.) After month 4 cut another 25 reps that aren't hitting the impossible numbers we set.

4.) Month 6 continue to cut reps who are failing to hit the numbers. At this point the sales force should be down to a reasonable 25 reps across the nation.

5.) Now that there is a base of business and several large whale accounts sending and loving the P & H program we will completely change the pay structure and goals. We can do this because all the sheep sales people left signed it in their contracts.

6.) Allow the remaining reps who don't like our new pay scale to be forced out on their own.

7.) Hire independent contractor reps to sell Pathway's products and pay them near pennies of what we promised former reps.

8.) Company will appear lean and profitable then sell to some chumps ass company.

Understand Pathway's has zero intention to pay you your $85k-$90k for one year of work. If you are one of those thinking this company is going to be around 24 months from now you are going to be in for a huge fucking surprise. Put the Kool-aid down and take off the track suit and Nikes. You don't have to allow these horrible people to ruin your career. Call all your recruiter friends and start looking. The recruiters know Pathway is crap and they are ALL getting calls everyday from current and past employees. Don't let these shit for brains win. Don't continue to be taken advantage of.

Remember Pathway never wanted a Salesforce to begin with. They wanted originally to have a DIY test that consumers could purchase at Walgreens.
The FDA forced Walgreens to stop the order of tests because they wanted the test to be ordered and interpreted with the assistance of the patient's physician, not as a chop shop type of self administering, self prognosis type of sleezy way Pathway tried to market themselves.

Yes there are few companies that sell DNA testing on their websites to consumers but the FDA quickly stopped the large order that Walgreens had placed. (I am glad they did)

This FDA ruling forced Pathway to develop a sales and marketing plan to the PHYSICIANS instead of mass consumerism which the FDA forbid. Hence the reason they even hired sales people to begin with. Obviously they don't see the value in salespeople and would rather hock their test at the corner drugstore with someone like Kee$ha as their spokesperson rather than bonafide and reliable thought leaders.

They are a recipe for disaster, I just hope it's a quick demise kind of like they did to 80% of their sales force since November. Pathway Genomics is nothing but a joke of a company with no plans for the future.

Why is it that every time Pathway gets called out for their unethical business practices the response from Corporate is "You're drunk!", "Idiot", or "Blah"? Every last one of you should be be so ashamed of your selves. Even if you are not the one making the decisions you are just every bit as guilty for towing the company lines. I feel sorry for your children, families, and friends that know what horrible people you are and have to accept the fact that you intentionally have ruined many people lives and careers because of your own selfish behaviors. You are a billionaire right? Isn't that right JP? But you're such a pathetic excuse for a business man that you can't even give a severance to the 80+ reps you have screwed over and let go after a couple weeks? You think that healthcare professionals want to deal with a person like you or the company you "run"? ALL of us that have have been screwed over are doing everything we can to tell the community about your shady ways. I have personally contacted every single account that I called on and notified them of what Pathway stands for. They will NEVER send your company a case. The accounts had a blast watching the Lamestream singer you hired and the two twinks dancing around in underwear. BTW... what to two men in pink underwear have to do with breast cancer again? The doctors were speechless. So feel free to bash my comment. I really don't care. I do know that every account is aware of what Pathway is and without ordering accounts the company is nothing.
