Pain Start Date?

I didn’t get a call until 5/16! I think I was the number 2 candidate and number 1 turned down the offer. What do you think?

For sure you were #2. I was a #1 and negotiated offers for over two weeks before saying yes. If it wouldn't have been sufficient the #2 would have been called with an offer last week.

Other way around.
] heard many didn’t get calls back from the Mix Talent recruiters which sucks and shows unprofessionalism choosing crappy recruiters. All the work requested from candidates and shows a forecast of what’s to come for company and launch of a ibuprofen like drug launched in a hospital for post op pain and not the best studies to compare efficacy. FDA approved yet?

I think this a great opportunity with a great company. Leadership is solid, company has cash and assets. Data is single arm vs double arm. Still a lot to be worked out but Suz will eventually take over opioid space due to efforts of this launch team.
OMG has to be written by someone with not much experience. Take over opioids? Read the data sweetheart. Have you heard of Caldolor? Ofirmev? Exparal? Liquid Tylenol? Launched back in 2008 and opioids are still the golden standard in hospitals with cancer pain and surgical pain severe pain management adding multimodal options.

Then why did you interview? Why are you constantly trolling this site? Why are you so bitter about now getting the job?

OMG? GFY.

You can work here and still
Acknowledge this drug is just a minor player in the market. Won’t sell atall
In hospital. Do t think anyone refuted that. Discharge will get
Some decent traction and at$99 a day a low share will still provide millions in the future. It’s already delayed. That’s why I’m here. Delayed drug but get paid.
Then launch will fail. Then change in strategy and some sales. I m here for 3 yr run. Then retire. I love how no one really knows what they are talking about. Who cares. They have a ton of cash to burn

That makes you late 50's. Be careful what you post lazy AH.

Yes in my 50s and a male ! Will be here until they fire me but they won’t as I actually know how to sell. Have all the contacts.
Chief of depts , DOPs ,pand t members , movers and shakers ,rn educators and the key big dog surgeons. That’s called being in your 50’s and full of experience and brains. Here is something only someone here would know. The NYC managers has a clue. The NE Manager does not and the Florida managers in the middle. All nice people but not aware of how this will go. The Regional is an odd hire. She seems to be a follower and will do and say what she is told just like the managers. Not sure why you are so upset. Just saying the truth. We will still be paid to not sell and then to sell

This division sounds like a horrific situation except yea guy posting getting paid to not sell. This non opioid is not first to launch against opioids and will not be a game changer in market. Ibuprofen and Tylenol will always be top picks oral dosing and golden standard always multimodal pain mgmt. glad I didn’t get selected. Told hire manager why launch in hospitals. Did not get selected haha. Good luck having a job with a new class going no where fast!

Retired drug rep here and neuropathy sufferer. Suzetrigine has the potential to be a blockbuster just in neuropathy! Neurologists have long been excited about the introduction of a calcium channel blocker to treat neuropath. IF this drug works well for neuropathic pain, you will definitely have a blockbuster. With a PDUFA date of January 25, 2025, it won’t be long now.
