What happened to getting the job done and having excellent numbers and that is it.

There have been people in President's Club that are being put on probation because they didn't get their signatures at a certain time. Who cares when they get them? They had the numbers.

The reason you have to get sigs and do all that stuff at certain times is because your manager has only 24 months experience in the field and this is all they know about selling. The people that went to PC and are now on probation are the ones that now threaten their manager because they know more about selling in the field then their manager.

This is part of the madness at Forest. Sad but true!
 






if you agree to sign this agreement you are an idiot. We are salaried employees, and what other company in Pharma or any other industry pays employees overtime when they agree to work for a salary. If you have a complaint about your manager, or how hard your job is then file another class action law suit. I really think most of you posting here are no longer employed with the company and have a grudge you are trying to avenge. The funny thing is that anyone with half a brain knows that only the lawyers get any money from a class action law suit. all you will get is chump change and a nice record to carry to any future employer you try to work for.

yeah but as long as it fucks over Forest than it's worth it. I disagree, I think most of the people commenting here are still with the company - I'm sure the ones that left have moved onto better things and could give a flying fuck about anythin going on here.

If u want to win the case make sure inhouse lawyer nl is managing it. She fancies herself to be an employmnt lawyer which is questionsable to say the least as also in other areas. In house don't do anything and will mess it all up and make a point.

I love these people that fell they are compensated well. I for one have much greater self worth of my time and skills. You have never worked for a sales job that issues a company car??? WTf! Then you probably never qualified for a decent sales position. but if you won't to be compacient and make the chump change you make at forest keep it up. In fact you sound like forest management material. You not only have been fed a line of bullshit but you at the whole shit sandwich! But go ahead and keep selling yourself short by being satisfied with what you are making. The person who says "you should be thankful for having a job, a company car, an expense account, and get to eat lunch for free" is the first person I would fire if I heard them say that. No good sale person is ever satisfied.

And know your laws. The biggest misconception is that salaried employees don't get overtime. That just isn't true. I certainly will be in for the law suit. I now work in sales where if I have a bad year I am pulling in $200k. I left this shity company because I wanted to work for a job that I could be rewarded for hard work and my compensations directly linked to my sales skills and the effort I put in. I found that job but not after spending 6+ years in missory at Forest. Don't fool yourself. No one in pharma is in sales. If you think otherwise then you have delusions of grandeur.

BTW did I mention: sign me up for that fuck over forest suit?
 


















I'm so glad to hear there is a lawsuit against Forest! That makes my day. I hate the day I took this job over another offer I had. What a crap of a company who wouldn't know sales if it slapped them in the dumb face. What a bunch of clown a$$ DMs.

I'm on the SCREW Forest campaign. I have my fingers crossed that they learn that real sales people get very disgruntled when they aren't allowed to sell. This company is lacking in so many ways...where to begin?

Wish I could quit. Can't quit but I can definitely join in on the class action fun!

Of course there will be retaliation; that's the "Forest way" - especially against people who know what they're doing out in the filed. This is why we have 40% turnover and our stock is worth a pile of smelly shit.

The biggest bunch of dumbfuck managers I've ever seen and they just keep on coming!!

Ha ha! So true! Couldn't even figure out that "field' was spell checked to "filed". Dumb ass manager is the one that does an evaluation on everything that doesn't matter! He/she did such a great job not selling as a rep that they got promoted!!

Oh shit you got me! I actually am a terrible speller. It is a good thing I do have spell check. I just don't use it for this bullshit. But it doesn't matter because I still pulled down more commission in Q4 then you made in the last 6 qtrs.

I love it! You say you would be hired by Friday morning. Your probably would be. But you won't. Because you are a dolt, and a pussy! And you could never give up the"golden handcuffs" of pharma sales and actually carry a quartly quota that you are accountable for. You will never actually grow up and get a real job. One where you can't coast through working 10 - 3 and let managed care dictate your success. I remember when I decided to leave pharma I said to myself hey you know what I guess it is time that I grow up get a job real job. And looking back I couldn't of been more perceptive. But you go ahead and continue this schlep lunch in an out of offices, fluff that WAS data to justify your job, and continue to look yourself in the mirror and say "people love me, my manager loves me, and gosh darn it I'm good enough"!

But I do love the spelling comment. I didn't realize we were having a spelling contest. I have a great idea ...you win! and now you can take your spelling trophy and put it next to your useless rep of the quarter plaque, you know the one they give out a thousands of each quarter? But I do concede. I am am idiot. And I will continue to be an idiot, especially when I retire a 50 year old idiot with all my kids college tuition paid for! I love being an idiot!

Great and accurate post here. The problem is that imprisoned pharm reps don't have the balls to jump into real sales - med device. And truthfully, you just don't have the skills to succeed. My fouth quarter bonus alone this year was pushing your base salary - and guess what....it was actually FUN!!!!! Wow - when was the last time anyone said that? I have fun and made 225K this year? Quit living in fear and put your ass out there - you never know what you may find. As long as you stay with this joke of a company, you will continue to suffer.

Amen to that my brother!!! I love the managers in the company that think they are hot shit! It reminds me of the High School (or college) athletes that think they are the kings of the castle and are all that but when they get to college (or the pros) and realize that they really aren't that important or great. They need a serious check like a big fits to the side of the head. I wish I had the opportunity to do that to my former manager. I almost physically dragged left him on the side of the highway one day but realized that I hadn't gotten my new offer yet and had a family at home that depended on me. It is the only thing that kept me from doing it...and out of jail because I would beat the piss out of the guy!!! There is being a hard ass, and there is being tough because numbers are not good, but there is a line that you just don't cross that becomes personal. This guy crossed that line of disrespect. And I almost don't fault him because th company put a person with no social skills, no experience selling, no regards for personnel, and no management skills what so ever. But I am sure you would say "hey this sounds like my manager".

You are right; the only skill you need to get hired at Forest is good spelling. In fact, that's about the only skill it takes to get promoted at Forest as evidenced by the fact that Forest managers don't know how to do anything else.
