Count me in!!! This company has screwed enough people over. Time to pay the piper!
signed, sealed, delivered!!!!!!!!!!
anyone find it interesting forest changed our pay schedule and structure with this overtime lawsuit pending
no longer do we 86.67 hours per 2 week check, but now it is 80.00, hmmmmm....
sent my letter in today, 10 years with forest should be a big chuck of change
I cant remember the time I EVER worked less than 40 hours a week, more like 50-60 = pay up
Hey Einstein...the hours changed because forest went from a 2/month pay schedule (24 checks per year) to a scheduled of every other week (26 checks per year). The number of annual hours are identical.
This overtime suit is a joke. Everyone took this position knowing it was salaried, not hourly, and knowing some nights and weekends were required. Another example of people wanting more than they deserve. You want overtime pay? Then go work an hourly job for $15-30/hour, put in your 40 hours, and then start earning overtime pay. Enjoy the physical labor...that is hourly work, not pharma sales. And while you are at it, pay for your own car and disability insurance, and forget about paid sick days, cell phone allowances, and eating at the company's expense while you "break your back" serving all those lunches. What a bunch of crybabies....
I worked for countrywide home loans as a salaried employee and they settled a very similar class action lawsuit and paid everyone of us overtime for 3 years. This was before I came to Forest. Not to sound rude but do your research. This is definitely no joke. This would not be the first time a huge company had to shell out millions to cover back overtime pay to current an former employees who worked for them during a specific time frame. Watch what I tell you. Oh it can certainly happen. Feel free to turn down your share if you like but I ran to the mailbox after I got my class action form. Signed sealed and delivered with a big smile.
