Optinose

Analysts forecast EPS is -.$.75. If we are much off that number I believe the price will react rather dramatically
EPS won't mean anything. Analysts will ask questions around run rates, formulary adoptions, free goods, sampling and shares in target markets and audiences. That is what will drive price. None of those trends are good

so if the analysts are asking those questions, it’s much more difficult for Optinose management to conceal the true state of the company? As opposed to just running numbers...which can often be made to imply whatever they want them to

Boom goes the dynamite. Smoke and mirrors and the analysts all saw through it. We can't make money when we're giving everything away. And we have to give it away because we can't sell it. Run Forrest Run.

Busy day, just catching up on the market news now... what in the hell happened to the Optinose stock price?
Earnings and the call. My god. What a disaster. If you read the transcript of the call, you can almost hear the analysts rushing to their other computers to dump this stock. Peter was talking in circles and as expected, they drilled into run rates, $/prescription, refill rates, prescribers, adopters, and the answers were not good. What a FusterCluck

took a quick look through the Call transcript. I'm in your camp. Not to beat up on Peter, but whenever he opens his mouth, bad things happen. Remember the old saying...better to be quiet and be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt? Yes, that! Triple the normal trading volume today... early indications appear that Optinose might be bouncing up a bit in the morning...Anyone's guess whether it's a dead cat bounce. I never understood the unwarranted acceleration in the stock price, honestly, this just makes much more sense. Only time will tell, I suppose.
