Optinose

More blame being passed around due to last weeks results.

Buckle up. I've seen this before. Fabbs will blame marketing and strategy. Marketing will blame Fabbs and sales execution. Gibbs will blame them both. Peter will go in the field and talk to a doctor, then change everything. Then Gibbs will leave. So much for a relaxing summer.

I am still enjoying the failure of Fabs. That guy is such a douche and it is enjoyable to watch his career go down in flames. Live him being at a shit company selling a shit product.

Ask yourself why one of the top 10 Reps in the country worked with CEO on Thursday and gave notice the following week. Makes you wonder what is really going on behind the scene. Then we get a call on Friday of same week, to give us great news about being rolled-in and white space credit. Can't get support material and message keeps changing re: FC vs Retail. Would be nice to have a leave behinds to support our efforts.

Some of the messaging, as you know, hints at efficacy that we don't have claims for.
This is called off-label and that is why we don't want the evidence left behind.
The best thing for Peter to do is stop going in the field as he has very little experience with pharma sales.
Thanks,
Tom G

Hilarious? Not so much for those who are going to be out of a job. Actually, as the stock price was climbing, there was an awful lot of people standing around scratching their heads...thinking...Hmmm...based on what, outstanding sales? Well that's not it...your "downside" that you will see when you want to... Here's a clue.. you don't have to look very hard. There isn't a whole lot of upside, unless of course you count the mounting debt. Perhaps you should go write some code to entertain yourself.

A better question would be why in the world would a sales rep who is among the top in the country concede to work at Optinose at all? I’m guessing he was sold quite the bill of goods. He was told one thing and pretty quickly figured out that the reality was quite a different story. Once you stop sipping their kool aide, the puzzle pieces start coming together rather quickly. There is a very good reason that office is populated by J&J rejects.

Top Reps are leaving and more to come. CEO rides with one of the top Rep's out West in Colorado on Thursday and she quits the following Tuesday. Hmmmm. The very next week another member of same team quits. I wonder how many nationwide have left. Might be rated top company to work for in Philly, but not so much for contract sales force and managers who bring nothing of value to the table on field visits, except act like wall flowers. How do these people get hired. News flash to senior management. Do a Monkey Survey on your RBL's (without fear of reprisals). Remember that "Fearless Conversation" you spoke of? In reality, it doesn't exist within Districts because of fear of retaliation. There are many great RBL's out there and others who don't give a rats behind of what their teams have asked for and just keep getting lip service.
We are still waiting for some type (any type) of leave behind that we have asked for months ago. The advisory committee is a joke by the way, because they too don't have any answers and only regurgitate, "they are working on it."

What VP goes on a two week vacation right in the middle of launch mode? Then the COO goes on his apology tour and tells all of us we are the sales experts, but then argues with team members who try to give him a reality check on what is happening in the field. So much for "Fearless Communication."

If you don’t like it then LEAVE!!!!!! Don’t let the door hit you in your ASS!!!

Peanut gallery comment probably by optinose manager. There’s a great way to fix problems..if you don’t like it, then leave. I just shake my head at the short sighted idiocy of these people. Peter did a fine job putting a management team in place. No need to tell anyone to leave Optinose. The smart ones are already jumping ship, leaving the idiots behind. Good luck with that business plan.
