One Last Message to Pharm Rep Republicans.

First blood??? Both threads were started by you or some other hateful liberal that spews the same vile that you do. Just because you agree with a few "Republican" ideas does not make you a conservative, or even a moderate. Your ideas of wealth redistribution and "fairness" tell us everything we need to know about you. You hate the system that allows your company to operate and provide you with the job you claim to be so proud to have. You don't even realize your own hypocrisy. The problem is when you don't have a rational argument to stand on you start calling names. That doesn't make you sound intelligent.

I'm intrigued by the animosity towards religion though. Atheism is a religion unto itself and requires just as much faith as belief in a supreme, supernatural being that created the universe.

It's not wealth redistribution, it's helping out a fellow human being in need in this down economy. The real hypocrisy is how the Christians preach compassion but would glady deny a fellow human being healthcare coverage.

I'm not an atheist, I'm agnostic. I certainly don't believe in any religion where the word of God comes from man. The ironic thing is that Christians who worship a Bible written by man readily mock the Mormon bible, another book written by man.

The real hyprocricy is how people who can afford health care wont buy and then complain about how "unfair it is" . we all know people like this.
We are helping people in a down economy, what are you talking about. WE have people collecting unemployment for 2 years now!!! just like Europe! As far as health care, no is DENIED health care! Bozo! you are a rep and you do not realize this? How many of your hospitals are losing money because THEY CAN NOT COLLECT A PENNY FROM THE UNISURED! And as far the poor ,they can get health care, its called Medicaid!!!
i cant believe a fellow Forest rep talks so much ignorant shit!!!

Yes i attacked your religion. Heres why.

1. You dumbfucks drew first blood
2. How can i have an intelligent pragmatic discussion with a political group that believes dinosaurs walked with humans?
3. You dimwits keep calling me a liberal yet i don't support unions and i want to secure the border.
4. Your attacks on the unemployed is disgusting. Im gainfully employed by Forest making very good $$.

You can not make a good point , so now you attack religion??? Why dont you stick to the facts , idiot.

I have posted a few verses below because obviously you know very little about the religion you bash. The Bible teaches self-responsibility. The order of responsibility is: to God, the individual, the family, then the church. The government is not a part of the equation. The Bible teaches that a man should take care of his own (and his family). The Bible also teaches that if you don't work, you don't eat. The problem with this country is the entitlement mentality. We have the highest standard of living anywhere on the planet. The "poor" in this country are so much richer than the truly poor anywhere else in the world. When will you realize that the government is nothing but an enabler of bad choices. That goes to both sides of the spectrum. The government through crony capitalism enables the large corporations to take advantage of the system. That is what business is supposed to do - you cannot fault the business. You need to look no further than Solyndra to know it is not just a Republican thing. On the other side, the government gives the unemployed and those on welfare no incentive to better themselves. Many of them can earn more money sitting at home than at a job. Most of these people think the jobs they are qualified for are beneath them. Or they think that just because they have a college degree they should be making $100k/year and shouldn't have to start at the bottom and work their way up.

You really seem to be a confused individual. A self-proclaimed moderate agnostic. That term is just sad. It says that you don't know what you believe so you make it up as you go along. What is right to you is what is right based on your feelings at any given time and that is subject to change. You have no moral absolutes, you believe that humans are of no greater worth than any other "evolved" creature. You have no purpose for even being here. I don't see how someone can wander through life like that. There are so many signs in nature that point to a magnificent Creator (intelligent design proponents, even the non-religious ones, call it irreducible complexity). The truths of the Bible have stood the test of time and held up over and over again. The only way to not see it is to dismiss it a priori (without investigation). Here is the crux - God isn't hidden. If you seek Him you will find Him. Naturalist explanations fail to account for and do no justice to the incredible creation all around us. When you go looking for any explanation but God, you will find those as well, but none will ever be adequate.

I Timothy 5:8, “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.”

II Thessalonians 3:6-12, “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.”

Psalms 72:2,4, “He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.”

This is amazing that some one from forest would hate the system so much. how do you work here?????? This is a company that rewards performance, you sound like you should work for the post office
!!!

Beautifully worded yet misguided post. Just because you're fortunate enough to be employed with Forest doesn't make you better than the poor rep that got laid off from Pfizer. That rep probably works just as hard as you. If you were that rep and found yourself laid off, through no fault of your own, couldn't find work and has no insurance for your family...you would be singing a different tune. All the tax breaks and favors we grant to the big corporations don't create jobs. More money to the government WILL create jobs. So compassionate christian put yourself in someone else's shoes before making such dumb blanket statements. Also, I am happy to be a moderate agnostic. My views and opinions are flexible and does change in times. I am an evidence based individual. You are like an old physician that still practices medicine like its 1950. See? change is good.

Opinions that shift with the wind are worthless. True absolutes are absolute because they do not change. I do not deny my God because I have a hardship in my life. Everyone goes through trials and it is those who learn to weather them and come out better on the other side that will prosper. I have 2 close friends who have been laid of from the industry. One started his own business, the other has been sitting on his butt collecting unemployment. Which one do you think is happier? Your situation is what you make of it. If you were a rep at Pfizer making $100k a year or more and you lost your job and you cannot provide for your family it is your fault. Not the system for not providing a job that pays $100k a year. If you make $100k and spend $100k you are making poor decisions and not living within your means. If your house is being foreclosed on you were living in a house you couldn't afford (the bank should not have given you the loan, but the government said they had to). If you can't make your car payment you couldn't afford the car to begin with. The culture we live in thrives on immediate gratification and having the biggest and best of everything. You want to blame the system instead of those who made poor choices with blessings they were given.

So in response to your assertion, NO - I would not be singing a different tune. I have saved for rainy days. I live in a house I can afford. I don't have a car payment. That is called personal responsibility. Personal responsibility is an absolute, it does not change from generation to generation except in the application. We have raised a generation of those who feel entitled, and until the attitude changes our situation will not change.

You anti-God evolutionists never cease to amaze me. You are so opposed to the notion of God that you are willing to accept any theory but God. Your arguments start with assumptions that no one can prove. How is that any different than my assumption that God was the origin? The answer is it isn't. The problem is your selfishness keeps you from wanting to be accountable to anyone so you go with the worldview that you think allows you the greatest amount of freedom.

It's also funny how you lose a political argument and automatically start bashing religion. Are you that sensitive? Are you so insecure in your beliefs that you have to rely on ad hominem attacks? If you wish to continue down this road I will run circles around you with this argument as well. Conservatives are taking this country back. We are going back to our roots to save this country. I would love it if you would see the logical inconsistencies that make up your arguments and join.

I take issue with this comment. As a Christian myself, I was right up with you until you talked about fault and responsibility. Does God place fault on starving children in Africa? Is it their fault for being born into their condition. People who foreclosed on their homes didn't lose their homes because they were lazy and entitled. They foreclosed because they lost their jobs.

Forgive my curtness but please read and understand the entire post before commenting. I did not say that those foreclosed on were lazy (though some may be entitled if they are looking for a bailout). What I said was, if you are foreclosed on because you lost your job and you have not saved money in an emergency fund for a rainy day then it is your fault. If you have a mortgage that takes such a large percentage of your check that you are unable to put money aside in savings in case this situation arises then you are living beyond your means. How hard is that to understand? Just because you make 8-10k a month, does not mean you should be carrying a $400-500k mortgage. If you have not been responsible with your financial decisions it is not my fault. It is not Wall Street's fault. I could lose my job and be fine for over a year without even collecting unemployment. Why? Because I live within my means. I realize that just because I have a job today, does not mean I will have a job tomorrow. So while I could afford a bigger, nicer house than what I live in, I choose to pay less for my home and put money away so that I will not be adversely affected should layoffs occur. Have any of you people commenting ever balanced a check book or done a household budget??? If you are spending as much as you are making then you are doing it wrong. If you are living paycheck to paycheck you are doing it wrong. Take some advice, read Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover and go through Financial Peace University. Don't say I never gave you anything.

As for the Africa comment, that is just asinine. That is not what this conversation is about. But if you want to go there, the U.S. supplies more in foreign aid than any country on Earth. That comes out of our tax dollars. It usually goes to corrupt foreign governments who may or may not allow their people to have a small portion of it. So in one sense you are correct, the starving children in Africa are not to be faulted for the situation they are in. In most cases their governments are at fault. How many 3rd world dictators live in the same slums and thatched huts that their citizens live in? If you want to be part of this conversation make apples to apples comparisons.

LIFE IS NOT FAIR
What about the people who are losing everything in Lybia or Egypt? No food or running water. IS that fair? How about babies born with disabilities- thats not fair either. the rep wo got laid off from pfizer although he worked just as hard as i did is not fair but that is life!!

Your arguement is stupid and not relevant , i think the prior post made some excellent points about not living beyond their means.

Many people prior to this year foreclosed on their house because they could never afford the house or decided that it was not worth saving a property that was going down in value.

Even if socialist counties you have to meet your obligations. would they let you walk away from your mortgage in Spain or Canada? No, you are RESPONSIBLE( make note of this word liberal, as you know very little about responsiblity) and you can not erase this debt!
What happens, you have a lot less foreclosures and idiot pfizer reps who buy more house then they could, would probably not make the purchase.

You must be very happy watcing your colleagues breaking windows and setting fire to businesses and cars in italy!!! we havent seen any posts from you, i am sure you are down on wall street with the mob

How were the riots , bozo?? were you arrested? got hurt during the riots??Are you proud of damaging private property and inconveniencing 1000's people?
You want more hand outs. maybe you cant afford your house now because you lived beyond your means and then you lash out at society. Nobody forced you to buy a house you could not afford, you made that decision

Yes, I just came back from a fun day of rioting. Thanks for asking. Met a cute hippie chick too. Back to you right wing morons. The average IQ of a Dem is higher than that of a Republican. I wonder why? Is that because you place faith about all including family. Your belief in a man made god shows your judgement to be faith based over evidence based. How old is the earth? Did early man have to hide from the dinosaurs? What if God asked you to kill your kids (Yes I watched mauer this week)? Is all "proof of god" written by men? Answer these questions idiot! There are no good answers to these questions. This blind faith leads to a rigid and inflexible political view. Your beliefs are chiseled in stone and unyielding even in changing times. Just remember we have higher IQs, dummy!

Not that it differs from any of the other company's threads, but it's embarrassing to Be a part of all this ignorance, ego, and righteousness. NOBODY is "right" on all these matters, there are thousands of aspects to all this. As one poster said, the whole system is screwed up, no real progress can be made under the political system as it stands. Additionally, can we leave religion out of this, PLEASE? You religious folks feel free to be a part of what you believe in, but the rest of us don't give a crap. Your words, bible verses, and condescending posts roll right off of us, please respect how we choose to live our lives, we don't want to be saved, okay?
Everyone has the right to feel how they feel. I am officially informing you that NOTHING you say is going to make someone change their viewpoint. Just like change in any area, it has to come from within.
If you have EVIDENCE and FACTS you want to share that could lead to a change feel free. Otherwise, get over yourselves....you are not a superior being.
