who is / was Heather??? Esai or Ligand????
RBD's are being screened now and will be interviewed in the next few weeks to be hired by early summer. The recruitment for reps will begin once their on board and resumes will be taken from the website (not up yet to prevent a flood of frustrated folks). IF all positions can't be filled that way THEN a recruiter will be used for the balance of the openings. Stay tuned.
Been in the loop with internal recruiter since last Oct. Back and forth in communication. Said hiring will start Q2 - sit tight. Where have you people been. There are many in front of you!!!!
Leslie Gaber and Associates will handle this one.
Not exclusively. Onyx listed their expansion sales positions on linked in. If folks apply on line and they are strong candidates, Onyx will circumvent leslie gabor. Leslie G charges client companies ay least 20% of the base salary at hire. Onyx would be better off going with qualified candidates who apply on line. With the market as flooded as it is, what need is there for a recruiter when so many top Oncology reps have been downsized?

Oh one more thing...the reason a company would want help and be wiling to pay for is internally Onyx does not have the manpower to sift through the Rez' and force rank them. To your point with so many oncology reps out of work the volume is/will be very high. To fill 60 reps we will interview approx 180 people(3 candidates per) which could be low. To get a candidate pool of 180 around 800 resumes will be reviewed ranked and screened. Much more cost effective for LG to do that versus Onyx. Generally when you have a buildout and 'retain' a recruiter all resumes regardless of how submitted(Onyx Website vs PG) go to the recruiter. There isn't two separate piles.

Going with candidates who have applied on line on their own will be more cost effective for Onyx when you consider what Leslie Gaber's fees are. LG has made some terrible placements in Oncology.
Sweetie she gets paid either way on these types of deals either way.
Doesn't matter either way. My guess is 85-90% of the hires will be familar to the hiring manager via internal candidates, internal referrals, worked together previously, etc.Do not trust LG or any of her flunkees.
