Oncology reorg, layoffs, any information?

I can't believe there will be any even given the growing rumor that oncology will have a big layoff and shift of selling responsibilities of Sprycel to Otsuka.

I can think of at least one manager that should be concerned

Phone calls to reps affected in oncology reorg get phone call Wednesday for a "chat"!

Ok people, if this was your company wouldn't you realign and reduce the oncology field force? I loathe people losing their jobs, but come on! The only thing the specialists add is another layer of logistically folly. Some are really good at their jobs, but BMS Oncology would be better served if they were returned to a "typical" field rep position. And none of the products in the portfolio require such a "shared voice" to get the message out. Red, Blue, Green? Please...isn't true love color blind?

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to see a 25% cut in te above scenario makes total sense. If they don't cut 25%, I'm selling my stock, because it shows Lamberto has no clue.
