Oncology reorg, layoffs, any information?

My thoughts are with all affected by this reorg. Oncology is a strong business unit, but that doesn't mean the current structure makes sense. Many will stay, but that doesn't matter if you are one that doesn't. Lot's of co's hiring right now.

HAHAHHAHA! Looks like I get the last laugh. Got cut a few years ago because DM had an axe to grind and needed to notch his/her bedpost to move up. Can't WAIT to hear if he/she gets the axe. I would love it! And then I hope he/she applies at my current company for a job because I am the hiring DM! HA! Karma is a bitch aint is!

True....good guy.....likely pushed out because he is part of the old oncology culture that was people focused rather than metric focused. The new primary care paradigm of Lynell and Murdo predominates now. It's a shame.

They don't make them like Mike Salerno. If LH thinks she and her sales organization are going to rise to the top again, she will need leaders. Dismissing individuals like Mike, won't do it. Can't wait to see what other tenure threats she relieves of their duties today. Wake up folks, at some point you will need a few in the field to be able to have an intelligent conversation with a physician other than, " hey, how about that crystal data?"

I am so glad hear someone else with my viewpoint......the new folks are poorly trained and their interactions are so elementary. I guess it is easier to run a dog and pony show with these types of folks.....but it will further decrease access with the oncologists. There should be a balance of new and old. The new may bring new ideas and different ways; however, the older, dedicated folks can also learn new tricks, teach the new, and also bring ideas. There is no respect from the new for the old. Upper management has forgotten value. It creates a stronger sales force. I am sick of the lies, different rules for different people, lack of leadership, lack of creating value for our roles, direction of blame, and the wonderland several of these new folks from other divisions have created over here. The result: liars, incompetence, blaming others for their lack of abilities. Does anyone remember starting out? It is called Rep 101ing: introduce yourself to an office; explain your role, find out office rules for reps; other places to meet doctors, come in before or after hours; f/u, f/u, f/u.....The new cannot even do that. If you have been around your told to help them to be successful-what a joke! It is one thing to support and help, but do their jobs? No wonder there is no selling in the field. Outside of helping all your team, you have a million administrative things to do......And most of these incompetent DBMs; they want you to figure out how to work as a team instead of setting objectives to define roles. Give me a package!

Shut up. You're an idiot.
