Hey John and Mike, word of advice. Don't have your boss come. PS is a POS and we don't like nor trust him (please see company surveys for verification of this fact). I know that puts you both in an odd position to tell the guy that writes your check to not show up, but if the entire point of this NSM is to re-energize us, keep him far far away. Other advice - we like gifts. And money. Specifically, decent comp plans. We're expecting big things for a Q4 revamp, so no pressure. Just make it happen.

I've also heard at your previous company there were free days and activities at meetings and people got to wear jeans. Can we make that happen here too? That sounds fantastic!!!!

I checked my bank account. Paycheck is scheduled for deposit. WHERE IS MY Q2 BONUS??? What the Fuck is going on here? I called my boss. Nope they are not paying it tomorrow. They KNEW BUT DID NOT TELL US?!?!?

That sounds fucking fantastic....what the fuck happened?
Now it's a shell of that and meetings feel like a cattle call being herded from one room to the next with no breaks, nauseatingly long general sessions with horrible motivational speakers just to feel like you need time off afterwards because you're exhausted from the meeting....not motivated! Oh yeah only to get home after 10pm ON A FRIDAY because they keep us until after 2!!!!!!!!
 






Real simple- keep the meeting short, my work day is over at 5:00 pm, please do not keep us tied up till 10:00 because your afraid some people will get drunk and act like a dumb ass...if they do, fire them on the spot, you clearly do not have an issue with firing people. Second, do not waste my time. Skull fucking me with general session slide shows will not motivate the sales force. Third, figure out a damn comp plan (That's FAIR), then set dates for actual payouts. Every time you push back a payout you just loose a little more trust. Just suggestions, or you can just say screw this post and go to the Canary Islands and read a god mf book.
