Ha 12-15 reps? They are doing that now! Try 25-35 reps. Qtrly get together for business review and then the rest of the time they approve exp rpts, PTO and put out any fires. They bring no value to field!
What division are you in? What company do you work for?! Here at Novartis CV, most managers have about 6-7 reps AND they are required to be in the field 4 days a week.

Not everyone on this site is CV! I’m also saying the structure of the ABL job should be more like 25 reps that they oversee! I get no one is close to that! However, there are plenty of Novartis ABLs that have 10 plus reps now!

I think what that person meant was ABLs should have 15,20,25 reps. Having 7-8 reps especially in neuro is ridiculous. My manager thinks his team is down with him bugging the shit out of us for 3 day field travel but we’re not. And our customers are annoyed by it. He’s such a loser but is very delusional and thinks we like him. it’s miserable being around him for extended periods. How would you handle this idiot?

Agree, ABL’s should have many more reps. However, the person posted “there are plenty of Novartis ABLs that have 10 plus reps now!” Would really like to know in which division. Possibly Novartis will move in that direction if doing in some divisions.

Derm had a small expansion this year and some managers now have 9 or 10 reps

Yes, THIS. CV same. It’s our job to make him think we like him. Then we have to try to keep our offices open in between the frequent field rides and manager being incapable of reading the room.

Novfartis is the worst company in the industry. Once my manager started the 3 day field rides I started looking. I have a start date in February so I will call in sick for the meeting. Can't wait to get out of CV.
