Novartis Salaries for Xiidra

Novartis sales tip of the day: Something I've been doing for just over a year now is starting with a really hot shower and in the final minutes, adjusting it gradually to freezing cold. If you think about the principles applied to injury where to add hot then cold compression to increase blood circulation and flush out inflammation, this is effectively what you are doing across your entire body. You will come out of the shower feeling refreshed and ready to attack your day. Good Selling!!

I need a cold shower as I got burned at the last Fireside Chat!

Wow - this sound like one of the idiot Novartis Retina manager. Something almost to the letter/word of what this guy will say.

outsider Ophthalmology manager here..,,,,,

I have to agree with the Novartis people regarding the salary of Shire people. These folks are at risk of being laid-off due to high salaries regardless of performance. When people left companies to go to Shire they assumed a “risk”. That risk was worthy of a high salary because the drug wasn’t FDA approved at the time. The Shire people had small territories and high salaries until approval came. Shenanigans with goals/buckets occurred and made certain people successful even though they didn’t earn it.
Fast forward to today......Novartis doesn’t play these games. High salaries will be out because the bulk of employees don’t have that. So instead of raising the salaries, those with high salaries will be targeted.

Just an outsider perspective because the salaries are so far out of range of other companies.

Will someone define “high salary” please.

It's important to remember what you're working for and to be grateful for the opportunities you've gotten as well as the ones you've created. Xiidra + Novartis = WINNER!!

Wow such ugliness. I would never wish a layoff on anyone. Novartis seems like a bad environment. You're way under paid. I can't even remember the last time I had a 65k base, your cars are shit, attitude awful, micro mange big pharma garbage that no one wants anything to do with with. Will be a blessing for any shire employee that gets laid off. Btw we make 2x times as you and we had a nice environment. I do agree not very hard to learn xiidra but all your drugs suck. You are dying but I would never wish anyone any harm. Out of our hands. I wish the best for everyone

I'm not sure about the hot/cold shower thing, but whatever drugs you're taking must be excellent.
