I'm sure there are a lot of candidates but the MSBU manager for Buffalo/Pittsburgh has to win the award. This little See-You-N-Tee has had half her team quit, including the #1 ranked rep in the country, and the other half on performance plans. Way to be an inspiring leader. If there is any karma in this world this horrible excuse for a person will be getting hers soon enough.
Seems the overwhelming consensus is EM from the MSBU is the winner as the worst manager.
Well the Buffalo/Pittsburgh manager did it again. I just learned today Pittsburgh N just lost its remaining rep. And from what I understand the rep was well over 100% to goal. This is what you get when a no-nothing pc manager comes in and rides rough shod over her employees. Matt is no better for allowing it to happen. When will this low class, insecure manager realize that relationships are sometimes more important to developing a territory than micromanagement.
Good job Novartis!
Seriously? Isn't that like 6 or 7 people who quit that team in about a year? WTF?
These are the morons who said don't mention its a pill. Philly and Pitt have lost 8-9 people in the last 8 months great job clowns. It all starts at the top Matt and Conrad the two biggest jerks I have ever met.[/QUOTE
Is this a case of nice guys finish last? In what management model does it fit to drive away productive, professionals who know their market and have great relationships with hard-to-see customers in a lucrative and highly-competitive market space? In what HR department is turn over regarded as inexpensive and team-building?

It is clear HR job is protect all levels of management. It is also clear HR and management is not focused on increasing profits for stakeholders. In "good" companies HR investigates complaints and acts appropriately. If they did their job there would have been consequences against Matt with the Buffalo fiasco. There would also be investigations on the massive employee turnover in some areas and very little in others. How could Pitt and Philly be in utter turmoil and many other areas be steady and productive?
Pitt will lose one more before August, Philly will lose three within the next four weeks. Friends in both groups and all are about to leave.....solely based on their managers. All great reps too that have been in the market space and industry for years........ Oh well, let's get that on another moonshot!
