Nominations for worst manager at Novartis

I was at the regional managers meeting over a year and a half ago as a KAM. Managers got up and talked about their teams and numbers. One manager made me sick saying "I rode my reps. Man I pushed them and rode them like crazy". And Richard salivated. It's sick. Horrible environment. Horrible leadership.

Reps who have the bad managers who do the 2 day ride alongs just take more time off. I know a few reps who after the 2 day rode alongs take the next 5 days off. That's their reward for putting up with crap. Unfortunately leadership doesn't understand an unhappy rep performs less than a happy rep. Novartis is full of unhappy reps.

Are you blind ugly and mean. Philly and Pitt is why the MSBU is the joke of the industry. Matt has hired 3 bad managers in a row. Maybe he should let someone else do the hiring. I work for one of them and should be getting an offer very soon to leave :)

I vote Ed from the Philadelphia area in MS as the worst.

the Novartis manager with by far the greatest behavioral and ethical issues is NIBR's Eric Legangneux

Eric was with us at Serono. No surprise to find his name on this board. He created serious damage in our shop and kept the lawyers very very busy. Eric is not only toxic but also unproductive. Good to know that he is locked up at Novartis.

The MSBU manager for Buffalo/Pittsburgh is hands down the winner!! She is a prime example of ineffectual management by a woman. Instead of supporting her team and striving for the success of everyone, she attempts to elevate herself by bringing others down. It seems that the only thing that has changed over time is her nose. If Wikipedia could manage to remove the orange glare from her face they might want to use her image for a "Worst Bosses" entry.

Another great hire by Matt the used car salesman. The grease just drips off him so sleazy.
