Most territories will not be filled once a rep leaves, the concept is simple. Reduce the compensation (commission) and increase territory size to compensate for the shortfall. The corp goal is to reduce head count and expand territory size. This saves the company on insurance/car/expenses/etc.
Your going to work harder for the same if not less. As your well aware, sales pays the freight and gets screwed by the corporate d-bags. WE can come together as ONE or keep getting screwed year after year. Sales meeting boycott might send a message..

Exactly, YOY compensation reduced and expectations extremely unrealistically up ....have you gotten the msg?

When are upper management firing's coming down from Tokyo! There's a hell of a lot wrong with this company at the top, and its completely out of the sales reps control. Fire the fuckers! Every last one of them and start over.
 






OCA threads have been hijacked by the angry poster who has some serious anger issues. We get it, you are not happy with the company and mgmt.

I would be interested in other perspectives, other than this organizational cancer who must be a real joy to work with. All NEW feedback appreciated.

And, to the angry guy who hates the sales op person... I suggest therapy. We've all been in tough spots before. Real professionals move on after a short period of anger/frustration.
