My doc tells me Nevro will not offer traditional tonic? Is this because they can't, he suggested it is a Patent issue.

Nevro can do tonic they choose not to because HF10 is superior for BACK AND LEG
Is there a cost difference between this nevro company HF and more conventional stimulation systems or are they about the same. I have private insurance and am looking for affordable treatment options for my daughter. Thank you for any information

So, when can we start selling either or both? Accurate was compared to mdt with adaptive turned off and other restrictions for the US study. burst was compared against, stj w/limited pts. Will any of this dampen enthusiasm? I'm losing trials to Nevro and need something, anything to sell against them.
The smart money seems to be on nvro, ck the stock history since ipo. And remember, they are in the SCS business only.
How was the booth traffic at NANS? Any apparent dominance from any of the players. Did Nuvetrex (SP?) or StimWave do anything???
Be patient, Burst is a game changer, and Nevro will soon collapse on recharge burden issue and lost of efficacy over time.
DRG is very specific and users can confirm years ahead from conventional SCS in CPRS and Groin Pain
Do you really think Nevro had no response? How about 24 month durability and pain scores that stayed at 2 on the VAS with zero parathesia. Compare that with the 6 month burst data with pain scores so lame that SJM and Dr Deer were too embarrassed to even report them at NANS. Going half a point down on the pain scale from 4.8 to 4.2 (they came out later) was clearly recognized by wallstreet as a complete flop. Not to mention, Nevro now has an exclusive code that captures additional reimbursement for their superior technology, so good luck selling inferior data and inferior reimbursement to your accounts.
DRG is a solid and differentiated therapy with real value. Y'all can have the peripheral neuropathy. But just as has been demonstrated in Europe, if SJM tries to put Burst up against Nevro for neuropathic back and leg pain they will be crushed.

No argument with this statement. Will add, the learning curve with lead placement and equipment durability has been a huge issue w DRG stimulation. Time spent in the OR and lead revision is a deal breaker!
And because RL advocates on the use of DRG, we're all going swarm to it? Laughable.

Great Post! All true and now STJ are going to have to deal with FDA audit regarding the life changing and damaging effects caused due to BURST. They have had several EU patients that where severally harmed due to the "electronic lobotomy" and now they have several mentally challenged patients in the US. They are denying it at the moment, of course but the doctor has turned them in and now let them suffer the effects. I say hook them up to BURST and see how they do.
