Next hits to LCC, LTC/N, LTC/S, and InTech

Didn't think it was rosey. Except that they do get the severance package and even if they work another 6-12 months that will allow them to be paid and have some health insurance while they look for other jobs. This won't be like i3 where if they stay for a year they get a bonus.

Yes it will be Lilly on Friday and IBM on Monday doing the exact same thing they were doing on Friday.

Wanna bet? Come Monday, I won't be doing anything that isn't spelled out, I won't be in a hurry and I really won't care if its right or not as long as I've hit my metrics.

Yep, there ain't no difference between a loyal employee and a contract migrant worker. The results is always the same because they both care so much about the long term impact of their work. John is a down right genius. Bring on them FDA audits, we ain't scared.

Turnover at IBM is about 40% a year. Just sayin'

Well sounds exactly the same as before but at least there will be an improvement in metrics when IBM replaces you 90 days after the you become an IBM'er. Better pay your bills with that severance package, you won't have work in 2012.

I'm definately not afraid of an FDA audit because Lilly documents every little thing to the nth degree. If they do find anything I can just blame it on the people who left.

Heck wouldn't be surprised if I had to right an IVI to turn on a computer or go to the bathroom.

Darn right. It's all about fighting these days, not just doing your job. Answers that matter. When all of the cutting is over, only fighters will be left, and daily pit bull fights will be hosted in the cafeteria. Be sure to wear your clip-on ties, just in case you are drawn into the fray.

It was reported last week that we are 75% to the goals set at the end of 2009; 1 Billion in savings and 5500 headcount lost. That would mean approximatly 1400 to go by the end of this year.

That must mean 1 billion in annual savings.

Will one billion in annual savings offset 4 billion in lost revenues? Do the math yourself.

Let's see 5000 times 200,000 = 1,000,000,000 yep. 1B/year. Long way to go, folks.

AHHH, but you see, they've ADDED OVER 4000 head count to the 'emerging markets' and the Gulag Prison state of Chin(Commun)a, meaning the actualy number will be OVER 10,000 in the US, or essentially ANY NUMBER THEY WISH! Unexpected, unforseen adverse...blah blah...will set the next WAVE to begin in Q1'12, via the PM process, SANS SEVERÁNCE
