New Hires Timeline?

The max base is 70
550 stock options

That doesn't seem like much... So what is the exercise price of the stock options? If it's like $1 and the company sells in 6 months at $28/share, you get $27 a share x 550 = $14,850. Right?

I'm trying to figure out if it could be worth a move here... With a low base salary and potential buyout in the near future, you could be without a job and not much of a payout at the end. If I'm looking at this wrong, feel free to let me know (politely please). I know there's also the chance of being retained following an acquisition. But $70,000 a year base is lower than most contract PC positions. Only worth it in my mind if there would be a nice payout through stock options.

I'd love to hear which pc contract gigs pay more than 70. Most average out in the 60s. Also keep in mind that bonus is 36k at plan and is better than alot of places. It's not a hard drug to grow in my opinion, even with managed care holding us back. Should be about to hit goal or get really close on a consistent basis. Exercise options are based on whatever the stock was trading at the day you start. So you'll have to hope for a purchase price in the 40s to 50s per share to make decent on a deal like that.

I like it here for the most part. Hoping we dont get bought out, that's definitely a concern.

If it were me and I had a job, I would not quit that job to come here.
Don’t get me wrong, I like it here but I hate the pay, hate having to use my own car and I really don’t like my pod partner. I only came here because I was laid off.
I truly believe we will be sold. Do I know for sure? Of coarse not, but I’ve worked for many small companies with only one drug and and all 4 companies eventually sold the product off and laid off the sales force.

Hit goal on a consistent basis? That’s funny. Once the expanded indication comes, expectations will fly through the roof. 500 scripts one quarter? Make 1100 the next. If you don’t, PIP then fired. Have to hit the numbers for the people that REALLY matter.

It's funny that you assume that's how it's going to go. Must have been burned before. Clearly you dont even work here since you see expectations of 500 scripts per quarter after expanded indication. we already have 2000 scripts per quarter goals without it.. Once the expanded indication comes, higher goals wont be a problem.

You’re clueless. Mark this post buddy.

Oh please enlighten me on what's so clueless about my post? How goals wont be a problem with an expanded indication? If they aren't a problem now with all of the roadblocks we already face, then why the hell would they be a problem when we get one of those big roadblocks moved? But yes, I'll go ahead and mark this post and revisit it months down the road to see if I'm way off of my assessment knowing I can sell this drug pretty easily right now. Thanks boomer.

Just make sure to save that huge bonus check when you knock it out the park that quarter. As you won’t make a dime the next.
